there is indeed dominance but where is the drama?
it's like mayweather riding his bicycles when we all know he can KO baldomir and judah...i feel he can KO jones and bhop and should have exerted more effort...there is no way jones and bhop would win rounds 10-12...calzaghe should took some risk

bhop took a lot of time to gather himself. i now it's fair but if the low blow incident did not took place, he could have been down maybe not knockout but very big possibility for him to get KD..he is out of gas at that time

Don't get me wrong i am not campaigning for a high Calzaghe ranking...but this makes little sense? Not all boxers (sweet Pea, Meldrick T, Duilio Lui..ahhh I could list thousands!) were KO artists and should not be gauged as such...I don't know if anyone at this weight has the power and ability to KO a B-HOP (a young RJJ could not)..in Calzaghe's defense he did not have some of barrera's performances of a negative value either...Junior Jones for example.

Did you even watch those fights asero?

Baldo was much bigger and had an iron chin..he could have stood there and let Mayweather have free shots at him the result would have been the same. Floyd was never a huge puncher, he had constant hand issues which manifested in this fight I think and to top it off he was quite a fair way away from his best weight.

Floyd beat up Judah for the most part until Zab bitched it with his antics later on in the fight..That was one of those typical aggressive Mayweather performances and they often got him stoppages, just not this time.

No way in hell Joe would have stopped Nard..you have no idea what you are talking about if you think he could have. Fact is the fight was in the balance at that stage according to a lot of people, let alone Joe being in any kind of ascendency to push for a stoppage.

Joe might have been able to stop the shell of Jones if he pushed harder..but he landed a lot of clean shots that night and couldnt put Roy away, so he just made sure he kept dominating.

but calzaghe throws a lot of punches and he should have inflict damage on his opponents...sweet pea and winky more of a defensive boxer who exhibits boxing clinic...calzaghe's style is like young mosley...but when is mosley able to KO his opponents

I won't insult you like some are...But Calzaghe is nothing (NOTHING) like Mosley. I think it is awesome that you are into boxing and trying to figure out who is the best. I just question you critera. Excpecting calzaghe to have a KO ratio of Mosley is a little nuts...Expecting Ali to KO Frazier just becasue Foreman did is nuts. Just because calzaghe has a high workrate does not necesarily translate into power. His high workrate is designed to score pts and win rds. exactly what he does

what im trying to say is calzaghe must have a career defining win for which he would be remembered...his career defining win is a win is a close nod over bhop...if he KOes jones that would be his career defining win as he would end the legacy of jones...part of my criteria is impact..

I think you should change that criteria...as even beating Jones was essentially meaningless, regardless of whether he stopped him or not.

Joe's two biggest wins are over Bernard and Kessler..Depending on how you saw the Hopkins fights and depending on what Mikkel & Hopkins go on do to may dictate how big the wins were...but the Jones win was a nothing fight, just a transparent grab to get some recognition in the states.

i think the hopkins fight is not career defining considering that many thought that hopkins win in that fight..i never said that jones fight was career defining win but i would say that it would be a career defining win if he KO'd and ended the career of jones...

as far as kessler goes, we still have to see it...calzaghe and marquez have one thing in common...that do not have a win that would be remembered for ages

He could have stopped him in 30 secs it would have not mean jack..as Jones had not shown any signs of the fighter he was for several years preceding that fight.

This is what Im trying to say asero...your logic is flawed. No matter how the fight pans out if you beat someone who is well past their prime and it is clearly evident they are past their prime then the win lacks the significance of if you had beaten them whilst they were at their best.

barrera for me. better wins and a better career over multiple weight divisions. lopez is most likely the better skilled fighter, but i put a higher premium on career over ability.

IMO Lopez, he was more consistent than Barrera, but Barrera was on a division with better exposure.

    Barrera. Lopez is overrated.
