I saw Ed "Too Tall" Jones try his hand at boxing, because he thought the same way you thought. He's big and tough. He got KO'd by a guy that wasn't even close to a champion.

Most of those guys are playing pro basketball, only because they are tall, they can't even make free throws the way the guys made them in the 60's and 70's. They even had to shorten the 3 point line for them.

The reason they are basketball players is because they got hit once, and they didn't want to get hit again, and feel that again. Notice they are playing basketball, and not football, afraid of getting hit.

A true boxing champion is born that way, it is there from the beginning, destined to be a world champion. The guys you are in love with were destined to be basket ball players, and that's it.

I think the Children of Klitschko haters are smoking something tonight. Hate blinds them. I go by watching Klitschkos fights. Vitali or Vlad would knock out any NFL player or Basketball players. Remember Too Tall Jones? He sucked.

i honestly dont understand all the heat for them at all. they are capitalizing on a weak division just as many others have before.

i tell you what. if its so easy why dont you get your lazy ass of your keyboard and go meet the klitchko borothers in the ring and teach them a thing or two, go show them what boxing is really about. because apparently holding three of the major titles between the two of them isnt enough.

I find it UTTERLY ******ED for people to claim that people from other sports could actually beat the Klitscko brothers. I mean, I'm not their fan and I can't even remember to spell their last names, but seriously now. REALLY?

 

shut the **** up ya ****ing nuthugger. lmao. they wouldn't need to do anything except run at their asses and the klits would turn, tuck their tails, and run for the door. 30 dudes. ONE will suffice. ONE. There are dozens upon dozens of SUPERIOR ATHLETES in the NFL. Better conditioned, quicker, stronger, and tougher than both Klits put together.

Can't believe how many times it gets mentioned that Jones, or Gastineau tried to box and that is supposed to indict the entire league. Get real fools. The heirs to guys like Lennox Lewis or Tyson are in the NFL. The scrubs and out of shape C class athletes are in pro boxing as heavyweights.

 

...and don´t forget all the potential nobel-prize winners in the NFL...

 

I call this the excuse of weakness. We don't have great athletes because they're in other sports! Get real. They have other sports in other countries too.
