No offence, but I truely hope Ricky punches that **** of a person into oblivion!

Although Gomez brings a bit of publicity to the sport, it is not in a good way! Gomez is the epitome of a school bully. He may well be the most 'classless' person ever to step foot into any British sport. I hope Ricky rips that wee tadger a new one.

Fair do's Gomez risks his life every time he steps into the ring, but to the average joe, he is a thorough ****; and would have been shipped to Australia in years gone by.

    Go Rickster

  2. Oh lordy lord did the school bully knock the teachers pet the **** out? Terrible when that happens isn't it?

Your bitterness is seeping through your posts.

i can and will tell you that rickys power is really under estimated,i will also say that i hope he has got a bit more bottle with his new team cos if he didnt want this fight in the first place then he has doubts-this is a big problem with him,if he is pursued then he falls apart, confidense goes away and he just coasts on.

i am very fond of ricky as a person and in no way mean to dampen his glory(i hope he wins and think he can-he has the tools)but he was going stale last time i was around coatbridge but as i say he has the tools for the job-i hope he comes a different fighter

those fights were with his old trainer(i cant remeber his name) jeff,he comes forward more and seems more confident in his ability, now he is with billy nelson.his ability to come forward more comfterably i think will be a deciding factor in this fight

gomez will go all out for 6 rounds without being able to hurt Ricky, blow himself out then be stopped around round 9.

rickys old trainer tried everything but hypnosssis to get ricky to come forward, and even now against poor opposition he still doesnt go forward,he is probably the best boxer in britain just now but he wont use the tools he has,he should beat gomez but i dont think he has the bottle to beat him, every big fight he has had his bottle has crashed, and as for a great chin he was 3 times on the deck to joehannson,if gomez comes in super fit i think it will be like the johannson fight all over again

I wont doubt you, certainly not. He dont have to be forward to win though. Regarding bottle, i dont know either, all i know is , if its a loss then he is on **** streak compared to, if Gomez loses.

TBH Gomez has had a a cpl of shots where ppl will argue he aint worthy ,compared to up and coming etc etc. HE is though, not a gatekeeper either. Its like, hmmmmmm he has made this place his own.

Not many fighters regardless of weight class have such a person in front of them, mentally or physically. ( Gomez uses it well and quite rightly )

I didnt like the TV interview, my previous posts did mention Burns had a few sweats regarding this. Will i doubt him ? Will i fark !!!

I have questioned all of the usual scenario's..........ala Gomez early Burns late etc

    Its 50/50 for me

spiderrico, ricky actually asked for this contest and to put your mind at rest there are no weight issuses at all,i simply wouldnt allow a boxer to fight if they were weak at the weight, and with regards to levels, rickys at the highest level hes been at so far and he will move onwards and upwards after friday.burns has trained like never before for this one he is well aware of the importance
