I keep reading all of these posts and threads referring to Pac and how he will easily walk through Hatton.

I think some of these fans are missing some important points.

I think that most are still caught up in the hype that was surrounding the win over a weight drained lackluster De La Hoya who was not firing on all cylinders to be fair, he just got the weight all wrong and anybody with half a brain who knows about boxing and making weight know that these things do happen.

My question is, what will all of the *******s say if their man gets flattened into the canvas?

What excuses are we likely to hear?
Will Hatton get credit for beating Pacquiao into a pulp?

In my opinion Pacquiao does have skills but he is not a defensive master and I think that Hatton is a bigger version of Pac and he may end up bullying Pac.

Pac has speed but this fight is a 50/50 toss up and I cant see how anyone can find it so easy to pick the winner.

Breakdowns of how the fight would maybe pan out would be good

When I said Hatton is a bigger version of Pac I meant in the way they on the offensive, they are not defensively minded fighters and both seem to be learning how to sharpen up on their defenses, i.e. Hatton under Floyd Senior and Pacman under Roach. They are both in the transition stage of trying to mix defense with offense whereas before they were both offense only fighters with not a lot left for defense. I dont mean that he is a bigger version skills wise because Pacman maybe the more skillful fighter but I do think that Hatton has got under rated skills that seem to be effective, like in the way he bullied Malignaggi. Most people saw Hatton being totally outboxed before the fight took place but Hatton quickly put an end to that notion once they stepped into the ring.

I was 50/50, maybe even favouring Pac but I'm starting to lean towards Hatton now, Pac hasn't fought a live opponent above 130 and I believe he lost his last fight there with JMM. I still wouldn't be shocked if Pac won though.

Now thats a bit inaccurate as much as diaz wasnt the best at lightweight he was the bigger man and definitely a live one.

Fair. I dont hate Hatton but Id say Malignaggi lost the fight rather than Hatton winning it

I think Hatton will stop him.
Pac fans response: Pac started out as a flyweight or something like that. Hattons a lot bigger & stronger naturally. Pac's not really a 140lb fighter

I wont give Hatton any respect, if he has to win the way he did against Tszyu. This is Boxing match not a wrestling match.
