I am not going to mince my words, but this weekend we have more than 1 world title fight taking place one being a WBC heavyweight championship bout, plus a great Irish interest in Dunne, and The Roy Jones fight and no ****ing television coverage at all.. I am staggered and appauled..

We have a million football matches every week completely covered live, and rugby , Golf and cricket to death ... and we can't even get one boxing show on even a delay review..

Its beyond a joke, its a sports and entertainment shambles.......

In Ireland we had the Dunne fight on RTE which was streamed live on the website. I was pissed off about the Gomez fight and i have been searching for a stream on the jones fight but so far its going bad :verysad

Very dissapointed. Whilst Setanta normally get the fights it's always last minute stuff, or they advertise it and then take it off!

The least they should have done is go Klitschko - Gomez. They've jacked up the subscription costs and done nothing with the amount of boxing. I mentioned a while back about cancelling and someone e-mailed me back basically saying "go on then"! Aren't they supposed to want to keep their ****ing customers? Especially if they are in some financial difficulty.

Poor showing from all involved. I've totally given up on SKY and the crap they feed us, I just hope Setanta down get flushed down the same toilet.

By the sound of it we've not missed much. Apart from the Dunne fight.

I emailed Setanta about subs and they pretty much did the same thing.

I think they're a bit chaotic to be honest, I've never had a bill and very little contractual stuff but on balance their boxing coverage with fights and Bunce's show a level above anywhere else, although ITV4 had a magazine show on last night.

That and supporting a Blue Square Prem team make it pretty indispensable - which is why I didn't cancel even though Setanta pretty much said 'ok, cancelled'.

There's been a couple of weekends recently where we have had the world's supply of boxing on. I don't know why anyone would be particularly interested in watching Jones v Sheika. I watched the Klitschko fight, which was extremely dull. The Dunne bill was shown on a worldwide stream on RTE's website so we easily and legally available to anyone in the UK. That had by far the best fights of the night.

I don't think we're getting too hard done by. In fact there's never been as much boxing from the UK and around the world available to UK viewers as there is right now.

It's especially surprising that the Vitali/Dunne cards weren't covered given that they actually took place at a sensible hour. To an extent I can understand why some stations might be reluctant to pick up a fight that doesn't take place until 4am when most people are asleep, but these bouts were prime material and certainly of more interest to the majority than much of the stuff we get.

I don't want to specifically target setanta for criticism given that they're the only broadcaster in this county that doesn't treat boxing as an afterthought, but I would have thought that last night's fights would be right up their alley (forget Jones). With the Saureland deal in place I had assumed that they were looking to get more prime time boxing coverage in place and either of these fights would have suited them. I really do suspect that setanta are starting to cut back now. I'm sure they would have picked up one of these fights a couple of months ago.

Really disappointed and quite surprised (more in the case of Dunne) that neither card was televised on British television.

Allthree fights were televised in North America. The Dunne fight was by far the best, although I didn't bother with Jones-Sheika,which was a joke.Klitchko was pretty boring and robotic as well.

Why did you need 2 threads?? Maybe that is why you were banned?
