holy fuk vitali looked horrid....................PROPS FOR WINNING.....................but his hands are always down at his side....CANT HELP WONDER WHAT A PRIME TYSON WOULDA DONE TO THIS DUDE.....................REMEMBER CARL WILLIAMS DROPING HIS LEFT HAND AND TYSON COUNTERING WITH A QUICK BLISTERING LEFT HOOOK.......WELL CANT HELP WONDER HOW HOW VITALI WOULD COP WITH PRIME TYSON....ANSWER NOT WELL AT ALLLLLL..............:admin:admin:admin:admin
damn man i thought he looked really good. He fights with his hands at his side but uses his footwork and head movement to stay out of harm's way. Ali often fought with his hands at his sides too. Gomez looked pretty good too but was in over his head. Sorry bout ur 100$ btw I was really impressed. I thought Gomez would be crafty enough to last 12 rounds, but Vitali is too accurate.
Shut up anut. You lost your boxing credibilty when you even said you got a feeling Gomez will beat Vitali.
i thought vitali would looose.............cause sam peter was so horrid......... ANYWAY U SAYIN PRIME TYSON WOULD LOOSE TO VITALI?????........IM TALKIN BOUT PRE JAIL TYSON..........BROTHER:smoke
I agree, the fight wasn't the best. Both men looked sloppy and their movement were labored. I give Vitali props for winning, but he certainly didn't look like a world beater last night, but given the sad state of the Heavyweight division I guess he's still number 1 or 2 in the world.
Styles make fights and Vitali negated Gomez in that fight. Gomez is a good fighter, just ask Virchis, McCall or SSS. Compare it to a Hops fight, he ALWAYS makes his opponent look bad.

Gomez looked good against Vrichis and McCall, becuase one was 43 years old and not all that sharp anymore and the other one is slow, plodding, and very good at all. Gomez was a great Cruiser, but I don't think much of him as Heavyweight, but he did earn his shot and lost against a guy that was just too big and strong for him.
I would of agreed with you before the Vitali fight, but now I think Haye would just blow this guy away. Gomez cant punch worth a ****, he threw more slaps than he did punches, something even a guy with a questionable chin like Haye could stand up to and not be nervous to engage with. Haye/Peter would be a good test, that fights a 50/50 for me that I would love to see.
Vitali would probably beat Haye, I feel Haye has better chance of beating the sometimes fragile Wlad.
