Jones, Hopkins and Calzaghe ALL have manufactured careers.

Jones with his glass jaw, never fought any punchers. Avoided the top competition and then picked possibly the worst HW champion ever to go after. Soon as he fights Tarver/Johnson/Calzaghe he gets DESTROYED. AND he was a known roider !

Bernard Hopkins spent his MW career fighting welterweights and Robery Allen. He then gets exposed by Jermain Taylor and slapped to death by Calzaghe.

Joe Calzaghe fought complete bums after Euabank, I mean real bums. Then beat a tailor made Jeff Lacy, Mr.Robot Kessler and then fought OLD Hopkins and Roy Jones.

anyone who thinks jones or hopkins would beat calzaghe clearly is living in a dream world.

calzaghe gives any mid/super mid in history problems.

Hopkins at 43 dropped Calzaghe and took him to a SD, a completely shot RJJ put Calzaghe down.

Calzaghe may be able to give any fighter in and around his weight class problems but people are not "living in a dream world" if they think a prime Hopkins or RJJ could beat him.

Why is it so impossible for some people to use any kind of logic or rationale when talking about Calzaghe?

thats good post but a pandoras box....

neither hopkins nor jones did much to shout about at their weights except beat everyone on the world stage...

but since both were pretty reluctant to jump weights during their prime when they made their name its not an excuse either.....

i said 'clearly' beat calzaghe though i can understand why you misinterpreted it.

i'm not saying they couldn't beat him, i'm just saying calzaghe would have given them problems.

Hey didnt Jones toy with the guy that beat DM??? You a moron and your point is pointless...A better question would have been to ask the same question of DM and Jones...But the answer that 95% of the people would give wouldnt fit into you agenda:good
