Im interested tn know peoples take on either a great fight that never happened for whatever reason or just a fight that u wish had happened. I would of loved pbf v sweet pea, but the match i always dreamed of would have to of been prime terry norris vs prime tito at 154 and yes i am aware tito's best weight was at 147.
As a little kid, Mike Tyson vs David Tua always had me superbly intrigued. Even when I would do mock HW tournaments in math class when I was bored, Tyson vs Tua was always the fight I wanted to see.
aaron pryor (1982-84) v. floyd mayweather jr. (2004) despite the fact that this fight might appear to heavily favor floyd's technical genius and smart, economical counterpunching against heavy fire, i don't think floyd ever fought anyone with either the raw athleticism or raw, fierce focus in the thick of battle. this combination, i think could lead floyd to get caught and hurt, even if he was leading, early enough to change the complexion of the fight and give the hawk a shot at dominating the fight down the stretch.
hearns (1980) v. paul williams (2009)...just so people will stop comparing the slick, technically fluent, rangy, overly-patient, all-too-jittery, medium-punching williams who has a hard time getting out of second gear with a firebombing, swarming, too ferocious for his (or anyone else's) own good warlord like tommy hearns. they are both tall for the welterweight division and capable of fighting well at 154 and 160..and african american...that, literally, is where the comparisons should end.
