Spaddy showed to much inconsistency and flaws way before all of the out of the ring issues. He dominated but got roughed up by Cornett..looked far from convicining against Dorin, Sosa and Manfredy. He was an ok fighter, difficult stylistically when he fought to his strengths. Mayweather would have slapped him around though..call it speculation all you like it would have happened. He was just really a middle of pack titlist around the time.
Anyone who follows this sport knows better than to believe that lame excuse. Mayweather LIVES in the gym. There is no "first day back" bull****. We all know damn well that Mayweather was ALWAYS in great shape, and ALWAYS in the gym. I have to laugh when I hear people using that excuse.
yeah he sure moved effectively... against Manfredy he might as well have been wearing a track suit. never saw a fighter turn his back and run so often and so blantantly and still win a decision.
I laugh when people use sparring sessions as if they are actual fights. Ali got dropped twice in sparring by Jimmy Ellis. A fighter Ali destroyed in a real fight. Prime Mike Tyson got dropped by an old Greg Page in sparring. I hope you get the point. And no, Mayweather was not in fighting shape for that sparring session no matter how much you want to fantasize about it.
You are talking about a sparring match, and convoluting it with a real fight:rofl. Spadafora and Floyd didn't have a professional fight yet. This wasn't a 12 round title fight lol. Stop imagining as if Spads won a true fight lol.
