It's possible but I still think Wlad has better skills.. and is bigger.

I hate to break this to you Zagnut, but Vitali klitschko would give anyone throughout the history of the Heavyweight division a tough fight.

He is such a smart fighter and is so physically imposing. His style might not be the most aesthetically pleasing, but you can't argue with his results. He not only wins his fights, he always gives his opponents a thorough beating over 7 or 8 rounds.

If Vitali Klitschko continues to dominate his opposition over the next 2 years in this brutal fashion, you might see a mandate for a super-heavyweight division. The way he brutally destroys his opponents over the course of 7 or 8 rounds is borderline illegal!!

He definitely does, but on the other hand, Wlad is not nearly as tough as brother, and his weak chin can be exposed on any given night. I think Haye is better off fighting Wlad, a guy he has better chance of hurting or beating if the fight ends up being a brawl.

Vitali would knock Dokes out easily and the rest. Vitali beat a good fighter, Cuban with over 300 amateur fights. Vitali or Vlad will knock Haye out, so would Gomez.

Sour Grapes from the haters as usual.

They're both old and weren't that good to begin with, what do you expect.

I wonder how many times Punisher has mentioned Wlad's chin in his posts. It has to be a staggering number. His posts seem like they are created by a badly programmed computer that hasn't been updated since 2004. The computer just keeps spitting out the same words, sometimes mixing them in a different sequence... however none of his info is updated.

lol...he's not going to last 2 years. To say his style might not be aesthetically pleasing is beyond an understatement. What's bad is his brother's is even worse. There is no basis to say he would give any HW in history trouble. He is a "champion" in the weakest division in boxing. Gomez was a blown up cruiser weight that was absolutely terrible. The guy should have been stopped in a couple of rounds. Do you actually think a prime Tyson, Lewis or Ali would have taken more than 1 or 2 rounds to dispose of an opponent like Gomez?

The whole "Wlad's weak chin" image is a lot of herd mentality. I've never seen him knocked out with one punch, which usually is the sign of a weak chin.

Ah, Jeff M...how are you doing?

I have found a common theme in your posts: your emotion blinds your better boxing judgment.

Instead of viewing boxing unbiasedly, you choose to let your heart rule the mind. It is seriously affecting your scope of reality.

You have to remember, this version of Vitali isn't prime time either. The Vitali Klitschko that disposed of Kirk Johnson and Corrie Sanders would be difficult for anyone to beat. Again, numbers don't lie. No fighter has been able to figure out the enigmatic style of Vitali Klitshcko. love him or hate him, you can't deny how effective he is in the ring. Even in loss, he has never been put on the canvas or has ever been behind on any of the judges scorecards.

I think the kind of "devotion" you have for the Klitschkos blinds your senses and is very unhealthy. You're a keyboard warrior. I'm sure you don't have much else to cling onto in life, but it's still pathetic.

Hardy har...I don't cling to any one fighter. Yes, I am a fan of both Klitschko brothers as I am of many fighters. I take a lot of pride in rational fight picks and am very good at sizing people up.

most of my picks are usually right on the money...although, I have been off lately. I actually picked Juan Diaz and Antonio Margarito to win their last fights (ouch).

Oh well, can't win them all!!

But, I am not only a keyboard warrior...I am a great musician and a very proud father of 1. Both of those things are much more fulfilling to me than conversing with you at this late hour.:hi:
