The much talked about segment of OnTheGrind Boxing Radio's landmark 50th episode (aired live within the last 24hrs), is available at 100% ESB approved www.onthegrindboxing.com or in this forum by clicking below.

Shannon of course was on fire, and revealed that he is in the gym training daily and

In reviewing ViTKLiT's performance against Gomez, Shannon offered that it was a 5 when asked.

...about the KLiT Bros...
"I want to bring them belts home where they belong and put them heads on the mantle..."

The Briggs segment begins just before the 90 minute mark and continues to the end of the 2hour program, and is filled with too many great quotes to list...

Almost two years out the ring.

Boring... he got his arse whipped against Ibragimov.

He can't do **** in the HW division anymore.

This won't be the first time Shannon has proved the doubters wrong. He is now RUNNING. The HW Division now has a glimmer of hope...

And I repeat, he hasn't fought in two years.. he was outclassed by average boxers in his last two fights, luckily pulled out a win against Lyakhovich, Iggy was a good boxer, and he did outclass Briggs.

He's at the 270lbs~ mark... his stamina is seriously susceptible.

I like Shannon, he's a good character.. but he's gotta find the 250lbs mark if he wants to do something...

I remember when he was on his way up, a skinny fighter with speed and power.

He was a special talent, let me tell you that....

He is in the gym busting his ass daily now. He wasn't on the 1st interview. Be happy that the OnTheGrind Boxing Radio Family and Eastsideboxing, get to witness and participate in the events up close and personal. When Briggs starts stretchin' some asses out again, I'll add history making events to the sentence.

Get behind your boy ESB, he posts right here on the front page...Last and Next American Heavyweight Champion Shannon Briggs. Don't talk **** until you listen to a great interview where he shows his fans huge respect.

Briggs is the man.

:huh

He's a champion in his own right, no doubt about it.. he earned his strap.
He's ridiculously huge though, I think he's got major problems with his diet.. it's pretty obvious he's pumping iron and possibly (hinting.. not point fingers) steroids. I remember yesteryear, he was a tiny guy who carried two guns.. his power wasn't far from today when he was 230lbs, he ****ing hit HARD and with SPEED.

I mean c'mon.. if he came down to 250lbs (I'd like to see him turn his career around and go down to 235-240) he'd toy with Valuev.
Vitali and Wladimir will be hard to beat because they're honest to themselves in training, they give it their all.

Shannon needs to beat himself up in training, so he can avoid getting beaten up in the ring. No ****ing shortcuts... I don't think he's got what it takes anymore, such a shame.. hes a great guy who can talk a good game :D

Much as I want to like Briggs, he just lost to Ibragimov! Klitschko would mop the floor with him. He holds his hands at his sides, after the second ****ing round he's ouit of breath. His only chance is to catch Klitschko very early, which is very unlikely. Briggs would be ko'd without a doubt

Pinapleman is hot air.

A glasscannon with a punchers chance of victory for 6 minutes...

There are about 50 HWs today that deserve a shot more than Briggs.

Briggs has done nothing to deserve a shot at a belt. But why not face Toney instead, both men need a good win. Toney would still oubox the slow as nails Briggs.
