other than Rogan, Prizefighter has not done much for its winners.

Sexton has not moved on from the level he was at before, Lomax has not fought since winning, Murray is in the same boat as Sexton, and Oakey is really jsut 25k better off.

You seem quite pissed off with boxing in general from what i see. Sure you have a wealth of thought and input but you just never seem to have any positives going on.

Prizefighter has given nearly 50 fighters a face.... Everytime an ex prizefighter fights now I always feel interested to see how they have got on. Prizefighter might not always provide us with a great spectacle but I find it compelling viewing.

On the plus side though he didn't blame Setanta for Prizefighter not having more impact...

I'm not overly enthused on Prizefighter myself (though I still watch it, as I watch any boxing), the novelty's kind of worn off for me. However I like what it does for the fighters in terms of paydays and giving them their moment of glory - their fifteen minutes so to speak. And it seems to generate interest, which can only be good for the sport.

I think because it happens so frequently now, it's appeal has lessened for me and it's become less of a special attraction and just a regular occurence. Still that's just my opinion and I'm pretty much in the minority, and as I say the positives far outweigh the negatives, so let it roll.

Am only a casual boxing fan - more of a football man but notice at the training teamates talking about Prizefighter and guys who arent even into Boxing, i think it has got more guys into boxing and it's great to watch

I've enjoyed the Prizefighter events i've seen, Rogan, Sexton , and i think the welterweights.
If it was on this evening i'd be very happy, it's a nice tournament for also-rans and fighters who may have slipped under the radar.
There's no shame in it and the boxers get to box and we get to watch:deal

I agree mate, i was right into boxing when i was younger then for about 10 years never bothered with it, Hatton V Mayweather build up and fight got me hooked again and now i will watch any fight and it's great now ave got people to talk to about not just the big fights - the prizefighter has reignited interest in domestic fights.

I would say that at least half the boys in my team ave took a keen interest in this event and tomorrow night most of us know Ryan Brawley so i can say everyone will be watching/attending our town is buzzing with the thought of a local boy on the TV and am sure it's the same for the other fighters.

I hope this lasts indefinatly as i am hooked

It gives guys who may be regarded as average many who have never fought on TV before a shot at getting noticed, I mean I know off all the Scottish guys who are fighting in this one but only because i'm Scottish, bet most of you guys have never really heard of them. It's a good thing anyone of them could become the next Rogan must beat fighting in the St Andrews on a wine and dine.
