I love Tim Hardaway, he's one of my favorite players from back in the day. I used to watch him during the "Run TMC" days at Golden State (NBA Team -- Golden State Warriors) with Mitch Richmond and Chris Mullin. I lived out in the Bay Area for a bit back then and checked out a few games live. Tim was/is a very strong guy. I know he did reps with 315 on bench, and I think he was able to do quite a few. I wish his knees didnt go bad when he got older and I wish he got a ring with 'Zo (Alonzo Mourning). That said, Tim wouldn't stand a chance against either Klit b/c he's too short and would get hammered from the outside without even being able to land hardly a punch. It's a Chris Byrd kind of scenario, or Sam Peter vs Wlad, at best. I actually liked Tim in college (I'm 37 years old, so I remember that). Wasn't he at UTEP or something? When he came in the league, Magic Johnson said "There's a new sheriff in town" because no one could stop Tim's crossover. It was sick. One of the best, and fearless. Never knew he beat up Rainman (Shawn Kemp), but I'm not surprised. For what it's worth, I think Fedor Emelianenko is the baddest man on the planet. Someone mentioned Dan Henderson earlier, I think (MMA fighter). Dan has said that Fedor is one guy he would not fight, because he has that much respect for Fedor's ability. Fedor looks like a fat cabby, but his mind is strong as hell (think like Vitali) and he trains like a monster. He says when he fights he thinks of his opponent forcing him back into poverty. Yet, he's calm when he fights, like some Zen Buddhist guy or something.
There are such thing as a love for the sport, its not.. or it should not be all about money and fame! where i come from boxing is a very unknown sport, there is a much bigger chance to become a famous (soccer) player and make millions, if you have the ability and the talent ofcourse! But the ones who become boxers simply do it because they have a burning love for the sport, to be the best! and thats the way it should be, otherwise they just become greedy primadonnas for fame, instead of great athletes!
