Do you always judge them based on their level of competition or is there an exception? To me, a fighter doesn't always have to face a killer to show what he's capable of.. A skilled fighter is a skilled fighter regardless and sometimes it's just so obvious that a certain fighter's got it... Tyson was fighting a bunch of tomato cans when he first came out but his talents were obvious to see and people jumped all over it. Gamboa has fought no one yet alot of folks are labeling him as the next coming of jesus christ. So how come Valero who's knocked out all of his overmatched opponents get so much **** while Gamboa who's been knocked a few times against non worldbeaters get praised so much??

Sure, the resume should be a part of it when judging them in an ATG ranking but im talking about prospects and young contenders.
As a neutral it seems to me that Valero and Gamboa pretty much both get their share of OTT nuthuggers on one side and naysaying **** spreaders on the other. You just fail to actually notice the above as you are one of the Valero nuthuggers.
1. Tyson legacy suffers because of that too. 2. This is true for all hyped fighters coming up, unless they lose or get exposed in terms of skill they don't lose their status. Time will eventually tell when he steps up into world class competition.

Valero isnt a young prospect dog eater he has been a pro for seven years and hasnt fought a real fighter,while Tyson became the youngest HW champion in his third year as a pro. its a stupid comparison but that was expected from a dumbass like you.
