Carl Froch - The man you love to hate

I was just making the point that Froch's balls weren't as big for fighting abroad as the TS was making out, or alternatively Roy Jones, Hopkins, Calzaghes, Alis, Tysons, Haglers, ATG of your choice's weren't as small as she was making out.

 

I'm a huge fan of both Haye & Froch. You noobs aren't getting rid of me for ****.

 

I am not a fan of Froch, never have been.

But he is starting to grow on me, most of what he says about Calzghe is true, and he has the balls to cross the pond and fight the best.

One thing, I think Froch has real desire to become a star, and sees the US as the place to do it. Its not all about guts, more a desire to become some sort of megastar (which I dont think he has the makings of tbh). I think he will lose to Taylor anyway, but props to him.

pascal was never even near the top ten. in his fight before froch he barely beat journeyman Omar Pitman. right now in the combined rankings Pascal is sitting at 35th in th world at supermiddle and that's being generous! pascal is a bum and froch is a decent domestic fighter but nothing on the world stage

 

I'm pretty sure you can get an ointment for that.

Seriously, I don't dislike Froch. Just tired of the people that signed up after the Pascal fight and repeat the crap the announcers spewed out almost word for word as the sole depth of their analysis of his abilities. Boxing needs the fans, but these guys will be gone with Froch's first loss.
