There's a rumor that Marquez has been getting dizzy during training and that he might no be back for awhile..

And Vazquez is also having trouble recovering from his surgery... A fourth fight is a longshot..

    Thoughts?

I called this about a year ago...the pace and the frequency in which these guys fought...was ridiculous.

There is a heavy price in waging wars like Gatti/Ward and Castillo/Corrales. Look at what has happened to the careers of those fighters after their fan pleasing battles.

Look at the careers of Brewster and Liakovich...they are a shell of their former selves.

Those fights are a blessing and a curse.

In fights, when you give it all you got, you can never recover it back.

****... I really wanted them to fight my boy Juanma. But their health is a priority. I hope they get better but after such wars... wow, these guys are legendary.

Couldn't have put it any better myself. Tua-Ibeabuchi comes to mind as a war where each guy was never the same afterwards, too, although the dropoff wasn't as big as the trilogies you mentioned.

Vazquez is having problems recovering from his eye problems. I don't think these guys are gonna fight again. They already fought 3 times, and they were all good fights. They don't have much to prove bi fighting a 4th time.

Lopez is the fortunate one here. He's lucky that Marquez/Vazquez are not what they used to be..

Now he can be one of the big dogs in the division.. Caballero and Jhonny Gonzalez would be an even fight against him but he'd be the favorite over just about everyone else. Dunne isn't on Lopez' level, i know that.

Jhonny Gonzalez wood give Lopez a fight. Caballero shouldn't even be able to make 122 at his height.

A 4th fight would be very risky for their health, As much as I would like to see it, they should not make it

3 wars were good enough for me and i dont mind them going their own ways to fight others. They are neck in neck in my eyes and i can't really put one above the other..

Id much rather see them against the young guns.

I never wanted a 4th fight no need for it. Seems like both of these fighters have been damaged from their wars.:-(
