For the record, I have never seen fear or worry in the eyes of Vitali Klitschko upon entering the ring..... V.K. is perhaps the MOST intimidating figure ever to stare DOWN at another fighter in the ring.......

Prior dudes like "Liston, Foreman & Tyson" had the ability to freeze a melon farmer in his tracks before a fight even got started, but Vitali Klitschko also does a damn good job at doing that too.......

What does Vitali hit him with?

Vitali is relatively slow in comparision, Tyson's head movement and short stature make it extremelly difficult for him to be hit with straight punches, (especially by a 6'7'' guy who throws slow punches), and Vitali has a tendency to lean back and away from punches and isn't incredibly mobile on his feet.

Vitali lacks the uppercut necessary to catch Tyson when Tyson is on the inside, his hooks will go right over Tyson's head along with his straight punches, and his body will get torn to shreds.

I can see Tyson catching Vitali repeatedly with overhand right punches or leaping left hooks as Vitali holds his hands low already and will be too slow to get them up high enough to avoid his punches.

And if Vitali keeps his hands up, this makes his offense even more ineffective and Tyson will tear up his body. What does Vitali have to offer except size and a good chin?

Yeah he hits hard, but what's he going to land? Tyson is going to be inside Vitali's distance so Vitali's punches will be inneffective and he's too slow to catch Tyson coming in.

I don't see how Vitali wins this fight. The fighters you mentioned are nothing like Tyson when Tyson has fought several bit and tall fighters that may not have hit as hard as Vitali, nor would they win against Vitali due MAINLY to styles and Vitali's physical advantage, but they had better speed and in Tucker's case a solid uppercut, yet still couldn't knock him out.

And again Tyson gave Mitch Green the beating of his life. And you say that Tyson looked ordinary in his fights, well how many fights has Vitali looked spectacular?

I mean ****, against Peter? The mother ****er was fat as hell, didn't move his head, walked straight in with no jab and basically can't box worth a ****. Gomez? He was basically Peter with just a tiny bit more boxing ablity.

    No he doesn't.

He lacks the size and Chin for one.

Haye is an UNKNOWN commodity at Heavyweight. We don't even know how his power will carry to Heavyweight. He looked very wild and sloppy against a very faded Monte Barrett.

Right now Haye is all hype and no substance at all.

    It's not about size.

Haye is a much more explosive puncher than Vitali. Haye has the speed to make Vitali look ordinary at this point in his career and I don't think Vitali is a one punch knockout artist right now, he's just a guy with extremely heavy hands.

Then again, Haye does have a questionable chin and he is unproven at heavyweight, but still his speed, power, and movement is what it takes to beat Vitali and he'll use it.

vitali is great the sad part is the HW lost excitement due to too much clinch and quality of boxer in this division after lennox lewis. but I like both klitschko brother style they utilize their height advantage well.

Tyson lost his bob & weave technique by 1989 at age 23...... SAD!!! By the time Tyson was fighting Franklin Bruno on HBO, Tyson was already walking in straight as an arrow, and getting tagged in return.... Tyson did look great in stopping Carl Williams, but Williams was always a sucker for a left-hook..... After 1989, Tyson was never truly the same fighter...... By 1991 against Razor Ruddock, Mike Tyson was reduced to winging his shots one at a time..... All at the tender age of 24 / 25........... Peace.....

    Axe,

I clearly see that the "K" brothers are MUCH better and greater as fighters / gentleman then that of our ONCE beloved ghetto hood----MIKE TYSON! Tyson, in terms of class, CANNOT carry either "K" bros. jockstrap........ Cheerio.......

I think Vitali is the best HW in the world right now, better than Wladimir.

I'm not one of those people who hold onto the past and speculate on how former ATG's would destroy Vitali Klitschko. I'm not a real fan of the guy but he's a legit champion who could have done very well in any era. He just breaks guys down. Plain and simple. Doesn't matter who you are or what your style is. The ring always belongs to him. He is a master operator in there. It doesn't look pretty and it doesn't necessarily look effective but the cumulative toll that his punishment takes on fighters is extremely significant.

I cannot criticize Vitali anymore. Gomez was a legit challenger with the tools to give Vitali trouble and he was beaten down in the end. He wanted to quit cuz he just couldn't hold up to the buzzsaw that is Vitali Klitschko. How do you beat the guy? If you bore in he'll tie you up. If you lunge at him he'll lean back and roll with the punch. He's constantly putting the jab out there whether it's pawing or not and I'd say it only takes about 3 or 4 of his straight right hands to have opponents rethinking their gameplans. Too big, too strong, too good. Number 1 in the world IMO. Wladimir is a hell of a fighter but that's due to his skills more than his intangibles. Vitali is not on par with his brother skill-wise but what he does is extremely effective. Anyone who had a chance to beat Vitali has been vanquished. Haye can't do it. Chagaev can't even get in the ring let alone fight. Valuev? Please. Nice, lengthy reign for the brothers Klitschko. Nobody out there to stop them.
