RJJ told reporters this after beating Sheika. Dibella says if Jermain can get by Froch he would like to see the fight happen.

Honestly RJJ should hang them up.

wow...Taylor-RJJ...Ill favor Taylor at this stage though...RJJ is old and he can beat some good fighters but when you get up to fighters with his skill level it seems he doesn't dodge punches and slip punches like when he's facing someone with a lesser skill level..

    Taylor UD

RJJ/Lacy is the more likely scenario for the summer...and Lacy says he'd fight RJJ at 175 and i'd rather see that one because RJJ is too old too make any serious moves at this point so a win over Lacy is a great retirement fight...

He has a much better shot at beating Lacy than Taylor, but Taylor makes him more $, which I think is his ultimate goal at this point.

whaaat? why taylor? there's a handful of champs between 168 and 200lbs that RJJ can beat even at this stage but Taylor (provided he beats Froch for the title which I'm sure he will) is not one of them. If RJJ were smart and he wanted to retire with a title he'd call out the likes of Balzsay, Erdei, Garay, Diaconu, Ola Afolabi, Guillermo Jones...all of whom he has a good chance of beating even at this stage and which of those guys wouldn't accept a fight with a legend like Roy who would give them possibly their biggest paydays? I think any of those dudes would take the fight and if Jones shows up like he did vs Sheika he beats those dudes.

well no ****. sheika's garbage. but it doesn't change the fact that none of those dudes are worthy champions and that Roy even at this stage stands a good chance against any of them.

Is this all 'the man that beat the man' **** with Jones and Hopkins? Tarver beats Jones, so Hopkins goes after Tarver, Calzaghe beats Hopkins so Jones goes after Calzaghe etc. If Jones beats Taylor it shows he's still better than B-hop.

It doesn't, but is that in his thoughts?

After Froch has dealt with him, why not have a go, although I also believe stay at 175.
