Juventus 1996-98? Good side, not quite Arsenal circa 2003/2004.

    this belongs in lounge...... but......

    Ajax 1971-73
    AC Milan 1989-90
Man Utd 1999 (centre midfield partnership of Keane-Scholes could possibly be the best Europe has seen)
    Bayern Munich 1974-76

    are probably the top 4!

but the real Madrid of the 1950's was the first team in Europe to properly import foreign players and so were miles better because of this, so i can never include them as i feel they were not competing on a level playing field!stupid i know, its just one of those silly things with me.....

United were lucky to win the CL in 99,they were outplayed by Bayern for most of the game. i think the current team is better.

They were not lucky! you cant be lucky if you get to the final for starters. The inspiration keano showed in the game against juventus when we were down and out and brought us back in it even tho he knew he would miss the final. the actual final itself, well its not over til its over is it! It takes real character to do what they did in the last minute!
