Yeah there's no point to a lacy fight unless he's just looking to get some cash before he retires (but would this fight sell so much??). At this point, sheika and lacy are probably in the same category of relative journeymen at the smw/lhw division. Roy already beat a guy of that level and should look for a step up, if he really wants to be "back"

Even old Roy would spark Lacy. Lacy is shot.

Lacy is not a credible name anymore.

Roy is old and shot himself.

I don't want to see him fight any contenders in their prime.

So why not pick on other shot fighters?

Roy fought Tito at a catch weight of 170, and came in at 169.5. So he probably could still get to 168. His primary target is Jermain Taylor.

According to Bscene, Dibella says that fight is possible if Jermain beats Froch.

OK Roy, we'll just all pretend we haven't been calling Lacy "shot" for a year already. :patsch:lol:

Seems like Roy is on a mission to prove he's better than Calzaghe. And he'll do everything he can to prove it - except beat Calzaghe!

if roy keeps on fighting then lacy is a good choice of opponent as lacy is now a one armed fighter and that his worst one.

lacy is incapable of throwing a long left hook now , so roy only has to watch for the right and after a few rounds he will have the timing and reading of it and be able to do what he likes IMO to lacy from there on in.

Sad thing is that Jones still believes that he's elite...He's fixated on going out on top... Someone needs to talk some sense into this dude before he gets hurt.

Roy should fight Lacy to see where he still stands...Lacy is kinda gatekeeper for the 168 division...maybe better than a gatekeeper but still could be a tough fight....if RJJ wins he might get a shot at a 168lb belt holder!

That's what I am saying, but can he make 168 healthy.
