Vitali's prime was probably when he fought Lennox Lewis. I think that's logical considering it was over 5 years ago, his biggest wins were after that fight, and he's just now showing signs of slowing down.

I'll use the Tyson that beat Larry Holmes as his prime.

I'm going to tell you right off that Tyson wins this fight and here's why:

Vitali is tall, holds his hands in a relaxed position, is slow, and doesn't have much of an inside uppercut.

Tyson was designed to be a giant killer, and while he didn't knock out every guy bigger than him, he completely dominated them when he was in his prime. They had no answer for his speed, headmovement, short stature, jab, and complete offensive arsenal.

People say that Tyson had trouble with big men, but that's because they use box rec as their reference rather than actually watching the man fight. Tyson actually had more trouble with men his size that could fight because it nullified Tyson's arsenal, especially when they had some boxing ablility, (Buster Douglas, Evander Holyfield).

The reason why big men were able to survive was because they were basically running the entire night and clinching at every possible moment that Tyson got close. Aside from a few uppercuts that were landed, their straight punches were usually thrown over Tyson's head, hit him on the top of the head, or were weak because Tyson didn't give his opponents enough room to operate.

Tyson fought guys like Smith and Tucker who were faster than Klitschko, yet neither man could land anything effective on Tyson except for an uppercut that Tucker threw in the first round of their fight. And keep in mind that Tucker is underrated heavyweight that really didn't start falling off until 15 years in his pro career, after his UD loss to Lennox Lewis that Lewis would have won regardless DUE TO STYLES, but would have been more competitive if the fight took place 6 years earlier.

Tyson also fought Holmes who was faster with a better jab, still had all the advantages Klitscko has over Tyson, and could throw a decent uppercut. While the fight would have been more competitive in Holmes prime, the fact that Tyson beat the **** out of him showed that no matter how good you were, if you get caught slippin, Tyson will **** you up.

As far as hitters are concerned, and while Tyson certainly wasn't in his prime when he fought him, Razor Ruddock had one hell of a punch, and it didn't appear to phase Tyson, and at this point Tyson was not the same fighter.

Klitscko in comparison has fought relatively limited opposition. The only fighters remotely like Tyson that he fought was Sam Peter, and me making that comparison really makes me a dumbass because Peter fights nothing like Tyson.

Peter has no headmovement, no jab, is slow as ****, basically has no boxing skill whatsover, not even an inside game, and the dumb mother ****er was trying to wade his way in with his left hand low in a counterpuncher's position against a taller guy that was actually probably faster than him.

    Wow.....Peter is just not good.

Then against Gomez probably close to the same Klitschko showed up, and another fat out of shape guy with no headmovement, but slightly better boxing ablity, (aka at least he held his ****in hands up), made Klitscko look slow and took away Klitschko's range despite being slow as **** and overall just not a very good fighter.

So how would this fight play out?

Tyson would be short enough and fast enough with his headmovement to avoid almost all of Klistchko's slow punches, and when Klitschko does manage to hit Mike it will be at a range where Klitschko is backing up taking off the steam in his punches or maybe if he manages to land a good one on the top of Mike's head.

Tyson will take away Klitschko's hooks again with his short stature and headmovement, and Klitscko won't be able to keep Tyson at a range where he can effectively land his left uppercut.

As far as the inside game is concerned, that is where the fight will take place and Klitscko doesn't really have a sufficient inside game. He doesn't have an uppercut, and he's so tall and long that he won't have room to punch.

I'm guessing that after a few hard hitting combinations from Mike, Klitschko will put his hands up, but his leaning back and being a stationary target for the most part will allow Mike to land overhand rights and leaping left hooks.

When Klitschko puts his hands up, Mike will tear up his body and take away Klitschko's power and maybe his heart. Klitschko might be able to survive this fight by clinching and running, but he will not win this fight. He doesn't have explosive punching power, he has thudding shots that break you down.

He won't be able to land that one big shot against Mike and I think he'll be beat to a pulp, but last the distance as Mike wins a wide decision.

Mike was designed as a giant killer and Klitschko is no exception. He just doesn't have the tools to deal with a prime Mike Tyson. And honestly, I don't think Lennox Lewis does either, BUT Lennox at least had an uppercut and was a more explosive puncher than Vitali.

Then again, Lewis doesn't have a chin like Vitali's and he can be knocked out cold.

    Either way, Tyson beats both.

    Have your say: BBC.

    But how?

The man has no uppercut. His inside game is practically nonexistant and he's slow.

    What will he do?

I'm not reading all that ****.

Anyway, Tyson by decision. Vitali has a strong chin and even though Mike's speed should bother Vitali greatly, being the smaller man he'll find it hard to land on the big man at times. So the big Klit will survive the distance and put up a good fight.

Tyson is too small and Vitalis russian style is pure poison for Mike. He wont land flush und Klitschko. Body shots maybe, but i dunno.

Tysons resume is better because he was the last one unifying every single title, but H2H I go with Vitali via late stoppage.

I'm not trying to disrespect Vitali. Don't get it twisted up in your head. Styles make fights though, and Tyson's style was wrong for Vitali a man that doesn't have an inside game and is slow.

    Vitali by UD.

Tyson was beatable if you stayed behind a jab all night and that's excatly what Vitali would have done.
