Amir Khan: "I want Presscott rematch next"

Brave, i think he needs to rematch him to win a lot of peoples respect back, mine included! I think Khan can beat Prescott but he needs a proper game plan this time!

 

i honestly think khan will beat him. theres always going to be the question of his punch resistance but as long as he keeps improving as he has been he should be fine

 

Yeah deffo brave......but stupid too.
Its something thats built into every fighter, If you lose you automatically want to face that guy again to prove you can beat him.

Khan got knocked out hard and want to prove he can beat him with the right game plan and his skills

 

It's neither brave nor stupid but something that has to be done.

If Khan wins he can claim that the first fight was a fluke. If he wins a war they can get a good amount of money in a rubber match.

If Khan loses then, of course, it will set him back a bit but he can re-build his career against smaller or shot fighters. If he sticks with Warren he will win a major alphabelt title by fighting, like Ricky Hatton did, a champion at the right time. People will look back and say that Prescott simply had Khan's number in a way that Saddler had Pep's. (Not that Khan and Prescott are on that level but you get my drift)

 

Prescott will always be there so there is no point in Khan avoiding him. He would gain allot of respect if he KOed Prescott in an rematch.

 

Can't knock him for wanting it, it's the right thing to do. At the same time it is foolish, Prescott's proved he can hurt Khan with just his jab. Unless Prescott turns up overconfident, out of shape (physically and/or mentally) he'll win again imho.

 

Good on him, can't fault the lad for that. Can we.................;O)

I've never heard him praise Prescott for his power, only say that he himself made a mistake. Despite loosing emphatically before, he still seems to think he should win quite easily if they re-match. If he goes into the fight without showing Prescott respect, I'd expect the same outcome - just maybe not as quick.

I have to commend Khan on asking for a rematch, how many fighters would do this after getting sparked in such a fashion that Khan did.

Is Warren going to let this happen is the question though.

 

I respect him for asking for the rematch it takes balls to get back in with a man who didnt just ko but brutally knocked you out cold.

 

..and Prescott has proven he's no one-punch KO puncher.. unless of course it's against Khan.

Of course it's stupid.. but it'd be big for his career to revenge that loss.

I think it could end up being an easy fight for Khan though, Prescott could get cocky and think he's only got to land one shot, as he get's beaten up for multiple rounds getting stopped late, or losing a decision.
