you continue to say this while supporting Briggs who other than Ruiz is the most boring fighter in the Heavyweight Division.

It is laughable.

Any fighter can talk **** nobody cares about that. Plus in Briggs case it looks even worse when he loses and then uses the asthma excuse over and over for him standing like a statue and throwing 10 punches a round.

 

By saying that Briggs is Top10 material? Strange entertainment.... :think

 

I watched Briggs vs. Lewis last night and I must say that if that Briggs showed up I would be quite scared for Wlad. He was downright scary for several minutes, and I don't know of many guys who could take that - Vitali could, of course, but Wlad would have a hard time with it. Survive the first 3 rounds though, as many have said, and Briggs is pretty much toast against a top heavyweight.

But more than 10 years and possibly 50 pounds later? It just doesn't have the same luster.

I give Shannon his props: He did what most only dream of by winning a title, and he did it with asthma. That's really cool. But as of now I consider his talk to be nothing more than that: Loud, annoying talk. The problem is that loud, annoying talk often gets title shots (see David Haye), but I can't see Shannon making waves these days.

Briggs is a pathetic ****ing excuse for a fighter. In his last fights he has thrown 10 punches a round and fought like absolute ****, and then blames it on asthma, which is completely bull****.

I had asthma when I was younger. When you get an asthma attack, you STOP being able to breathe normally, it feels like your lungs are cut in half and you are gasping for breath. You cannot do physical activity at all.


Briggs has NEVER had anything resembling an asthma attack. He is just so ovemuscled and such **** shape that he can barely move in the ring and is wheezing because he has no endurance whatsoever.

Shannon Briggs is just looking for a big payday. Tell him to wait in line or earn it the old fashioned way.

 

I've already chatted with him. I was a big fan until he pulled that racist **** with Liakhovich. He claimed Sergei was a racist who hated him because he was black. After the fight he admitted it was just to sell tickets. What a piece of human **** he is, to play the race card for dollars..............he can kiss my shiney white ass.

That fight was postponed once for his so called 'walking asthma' . That is not a valid excuse he had plenty of time to train but he didn't.

 

..and had two of the WORST heavyweight fights in the last 20 years.
