This remark really angered me yesterday. Finito said Valero knows high fashion because he lives in Japan but obviously he meant Pac doesn't because he lives in the Philippines. I thought it so because he lambasted Pac's fashion sense in his previous post (below). Knowing that the way the people dress has something to do with their culture, I found his remark as an affront to the Filipino people and as a Pinoy, I felt insulted. Actually, I thought the remark was gayish or girlish and Finito sounded more like a fashion critic than an avid boxing fan that he is, but I thought that maybe he was just teasing the *******s for some fun. I was about to let the remark passed by but as I continued reading other posts, I found his other posts insulting Borj with some words showing his disdain toward the Filipinos. I felt I had enough as I knew he had done similar things in the past so I went back to first post I had quoted and posted this reply(below)with a mild bite. Fellow ESBers, I have no intention of rekindling the "race war" but I want to clarify that I did not start the racist shits. I simply reacted to the insults hurled by Finito to the Filipinos. The remark was purely intended for Finito and some others who might be like him who have shown excessive admiration for anything Japanese. It was not intended for the Koreans in general who I admire as peace loving and industrious people who are proud of their culture. Note that I only said "some Koreans" and not "Koreans" in general, not even "many Koreans" as I referred to only a few of them. I have to admit, however, that my remark could sound "racist" and apparently it has in the eyes of some ESBers so I wish to apologize again to all ESBers. As for you Finito, I would like to assure you that my remark was intended only for you and your cohorts. However, if you felt that it was an affront to the Korean people, then I would like to apologize. I am not about extending a hand of friendship but please let's discuss or argue about boxing in a more civil manner. I'm sure we can do it without hurling insults to each other.
I have no problem with you Jeff, you seem a likable fellow. It's your friend Finito who got into my nerves. He has been throwing insults to your so-called *******s and had shown so much disdain to the Filipino people in many of his posts. I felt I had enough that's why i reacted a bit overboard.
