Phew, that's a relief! I laughed, then remembered which forum this is and got worried. The real-world Duddy over-hype in my area is so massive that I can never be too sure who's kidding anymore...

    :rofl:rofl

Wlladmir's ring generalship makes him look like a god damn amatuer.

If Corrie Sanders and Lamon Brewster can do it and Peter can knock him down, Haye can ****in do it.

Tell that to his last ten opponents that he all beat decisively along with the 8 he knocked out.

TWladimir is an improved fighter since 2004, a MUCH improved fighter.

Of course Haye could knock him down, but is he good enough to do it? I dont think so.
Haye beating Barret was exciting as hell, but he didnt show anything in that fight that would lead to believe he would give Wlad trouble

I can't believe you consider swearing at me being owned.

For the last time, i'm not comparing Lacy's resume or abilities to Haye's.

You are a foul mouthed idiot!!

I am comparing the hype job before the two bouts, and assuming that Haye's fate will be that of Lacy's. Both men losing badly.

David Haye, as well as the other 'puffed up' Cruisers and Heavies, will be trivia question in 15 years.

Link, a labotomised ****** would see just how feeble a comparison of Haye to Clay is. Haye is another poor subject, given a chance of nostalgia, via the current H/W scene.

His name will not be remembered for any great reasons. Those who wish for a 'roll in the Haye' will look for the 'needle' in the same Haye in 15 years. He'll be a box of trash, with a criminal record, drug cheat history and terminal lifestyle before that time elapses.

    In a word, no

Haye has got the unfortunate disease that affects a certain breed of young fighters called 'lefthandatthewaistitis'. This is a particularly nasty condition that relates to a personality disorder wherein the subject has an unrealistic idea of how fast their reflexes are. The side effect of this disease is that the inflicted is hit flush with far more right handed shots than they would otherwise have to take. Afflicted persons wth strong jaw to brain stress ratios are better equiped to deal with the condition whereas those with a weak jaw to brain stress ratio tend to suffer such additional symptoms such as weakness in the legs, blurred vision, lack of balance, pain and often collapse. A long term prognosis is rarely good.

I'm going to go out on a limb.. haye wont be the next ali,. but im still a big fan, i think people underrate his boxing skills, and he learnt alot about pacing himself throughout a fight from the thompson defeat. Will be a good fight, i rhink it will be hayes night.

The next Ali? Are u crazy?

Muhammad Ali will be remembered as an early version of David "2nd Coming" Haye.

Seriously, first real HW punch landing on his chin and he's gonna get Rahmaned.

Haye is fast, strong and has a lot of charisma but.......he aint no ali.
For one, Ali started out as a heavyweight and beat an ATG heavyweight champion and was undefeated until he was forced out of boxing cos of the war. Ali was a preacher, a messanger and all in all a great man.

Haye started at cruiser, beat one of my fave boxers who admittidly has not got a great chin and then beats an american heavyweight whose on the downfall and wernt that big a name to start. Also the way haye gets fights is to put disturbing images in magazines and may i note he aint got the footwork or balance of Ali.

Sorry but i think hayes way in over his head on the klitschko fight and thats hes gonna get beat. He shoulda gone for valuev first

The comparison to Ali is daft, but how do you know he won't be remembered for any great reasons. If he beats Vitali he'll be ****ing remembered that's for sure.
