Wladimir has more one punch power, but Vitali is the relentless Killer of the two.

Thats a lot of the reason why I think Wlad has the better overall power.

Vitali is more aggressive, more relentless, more confident to attack because of his better chin and he is a bit physically bigger, not much but there is a difference.

Wlad can turn a fight on its head better though..He is more conservative and defensive minded but he can end matters very quickly.

    I agree completely.

But even Wladimir says that Vitali would beat him in a direct confrontation (wich never will happen).

I would not say Vitali at 250 pounds is the P4P greatest puncher. This is the WBC being silly.

However, Vitali owns the highest KO% of any champion at any weight class, in the history of gloved boxing at 92.31%!

Vitali has boxed 165 rounds as a professional, and has lost at most 10 rounds total, with no man winning more than a majority of two rounds vs him. This is simply amazing. No heavyweight, not even Ali or Holmes in his prime was this dominant on the scorecards. And yes, I am talking about the prime Ali who barely edged cruiserweight Doug Jones, and dropped rounds in the 1960's to guys like Karl Mildenberger, Henry Cooper, and an older Zora Folley.

Collectively the prime 1960's version of Ali lost more rounds than Vitali Klitshcko has in his entire career to date.

And let's be real here, fighters like Lennox Lewis, Chris Bryd, Sam Peter, Corrie Sanders, and Juan Gomez were much better than the tier two guys I mentioned that Ali fought in the 1960s.

If anyone wants to debate these facts, go for it. I have the facts and truth on my side.

Rounds as you see them or as judged? Most of the judges Vitali's been in front of have been a wee bit more favorably disposed to him than most of Ali's were.

That being said, it must sure suck to be Ali, huh? Apparently, he's the worst heavyweight champ of all time and stacks up unfavorably against every champion of all the other eras. Completely uncompetitive when compared to Joe Louis, Vitali Klitshcko, Primo Carnera, Mike Tyson, George Foreman, Rocky Marciano, Buster Douglas, some unknown kid named Cassius Clay, George Foreman, John Ruiz...

Be satisfied with the fact that he's a belt holder with a good career and a possibility to make lasting history. You're allowed to like a fighter even if he doesn't walk on water and raise the dead.

If you're going to rate a fighter's legacy with stats like it's baseball, then we may as well all start using Olympic scoring.

Mendoza says:Collectively the prime 1960's version of Ali lost more rounds than Vitali Klitshcko has in his entire career to date.

Mendoza says: Both! Official score cards and my own cards confirm that the prime Ali lost 4 rounds to Doug Jones, 2 rounds to Cooper, 2-3 rounds vs an older Folley, and 3-4 rounds vs Mildenbgerer. This is combined is more than Vitali lost in his entire pro career. Those are the facts.

Mendoza says: I never said it sucks to be Ali. Ali had a great career and should be viewed as one of the top 4 heavyweights of all time. I was merely using him as an example of how good and dominate Vitali is on the score cards. No skilled heavyweight boxer, not Holmes, Lewis, or Tunney can match Vitali's rounds won to rounds lost ratio. Heck Joe Louis lost more rounds vs Bob Pastor in two fights, and Pastor was nothing special.

I think Vitali has already made history. He owns the best KO% in the history of the ring, has never been floored by a punch ( the only heavyweight champ who can say that is Oliver McCall ),owns the best rounds won to rounds lost ratio in the history of heavyweight boxing, AND made an all time come back at age 37, with 4 years off and no warm up fights to win his belt back.

Impressive enough if you ask me.

Everything Vitali does adds to Lewis's legacy, so if the WBC want to engage in purple hyperbole then fine by me.

um...George Foreman was still fighting at the age of 48. he regained the title after losing 20 years earlier to Ali (Foreman was 45yrs old i believe making him the oldest champion ever). if 20yrs off and coming back to win a championship doesn't tell u how HORRIBLE the heavyweight division is then idk wat will take for you to realize this. KLITSCHKO IS FIGHTING BUMS, (not his fault tho) i'm not a Klitschko hater but i realize the heavyweights of this era don't even come close to the old school fighters.

Sure, Foreman had an all time comeback, BUT he had many warm up fights, might have been lucky on the cards vs Stewart, and history tells us he lost his first two title shots to Holyfield and Morrison. For Foreman the third time was a charm when he landed a good shot vs a foolish and chinny Moorer. Foreman was not even supposted to fight Moorer, he was the replacement.

Who in boxing took four years off, cameback with no warm up fight at age 37 and won a title match? No man.

Both Foreman and Klitschko had very impressive comebacks if you ask me.

I don't think he has great one punch power. Wlad punches harder. Nevermind Foreman, Shavers, Tyson and any number of others.
