amateur boxing in california

    yesterday all amateur boxing in california was shut down for a month due to corruption of officials and betting on kids under the age of 17 at private shows.next month after an investigation and taking a vote they will decide if kids ages 8-16 will still be able to box competetively.the golden gloves has also been cancelled.it's bull**** i was supposed to fight on saturday!!!!!

    They are strict in Cali. Rules are rules. U don't obey them, ya pay. Ban the whole thing is bogus.

    In the U.S., there is a ridiculous policy where one fugs up and the rest have to pay. Ridiculous.

    well we do have a serious problem here... mainly imo with the officials and the scoring. not stoked to hear this, but they definitely need to take some time to reorganize and set some things straight.
