Not a very good 1st post on ESB .... I suggest you delete this account and start over.... but not before learning more about boxing, we really don't need any more ******s here on ESB , we have enough.

I have followed kessler since he turned pro. and he is a great fighter and a great guy.
IT IS SO SAD that he got all these problems with M.Palle.
IF kessler could leave palle, and maybe get a new trainer. Then i think he would be a lot better...
but even if he stays with richard olsen (he´s trainer),he is still the man at 168.
PLEASE give kessler some top opponents, some big fights,so he can show the worlds boxing fans what he´s made of.
I really like the way he talk about he´s opponent, never disrespectfull!!
    a great athlete....

I haven't followed his management problems at all so I've no idea what you guys keep referring to, but I've a question.
    Why isn't he fighting?
Doesn't he at least have mandatories to fight?

edit: weird... I already had more than 5 posts at some point...

I would say Kessler is up there as one of the biggest Conmen in Boxing.

A handsome looking and marketable guy, and Palle knows it.

They will milk this Danish pastry dry, and Kessler will go along with it fighting washed up guys as he goes along.

He is 30 now, and will very unlikely be a HOF fighter.

Kessler would barely make top 10 supermiddles in Era of:

    Collins
    Eubank
    Benn
    Nunn
    Mcullum
    Toney
    Jones
    Reggie Johnson
    Watson

Obviously there's the weight factor, but I feel Dawson would have beaten him solidly: hence the lack of enthusiasm from Kessler's camp for the fight.

Still, those tattoos look the part.

How do you figure that 168 is a historically strong division?

He's got one of the stiffest jab i've seen, a very special fighter. One of my favorite. Sad to see his career put on hold...

I'm disapointed with how his best years are fizzling out in obscurity. We can only hope his contractual issues are resolved and he gets to choose a new promoter. I'm sure he'd have no shortage of offers and we'd get some interesting fights.

As it is...its a giant waste.

  15. All of those tattoo's look like ****:-(, who's the best fighter kessler has beaten?:huh he's a poor mans Calzaghe, a fair fighter, until he gets into the ring and beats a GRADE A FIGHTER!:deal it's hard to make him a p4p guy:verysad, why did he back out against Miranda?? his ass needs to fight a Dawson, Pavlik, Hopkins type guy then we'll take it from there the guy is doing not a damn thing with his career:dead
