good advice like i say i have come on leaps and bouns from them and am holding my own and beating fighters with way more experiance. In them fights im too right hand happy i have been working on my jab alot and now its my best tool i throw it hard, quick, whilst moving, as a counter as everything, ill try and tape some sparring some time and show you guys. i have also been working on power but even throing with correct technique and fulls strenght im still not a hard hitter. cheers for the extra advice.
:-( **** that was my last fight, just over 10 yrs ago, against a scouse light middle called Garret. Took a bit of a hiding in the first 2 rounds. Got sat on me arse with the first right hand he threw, and was cut over my eye which required 9 stitches.:!:I got more into it towards the end of the 2nd when he started to run out of ideas, before the ref stopped it in my favour in the fourth (he was a good mate of mine). Not sure it was one of my best performances. Im pretty sure Louis Veitch fought his last fight on the same bill. And i think it was maybe his first go at promoting.
that was Dec 08 i ahve improved alot i felt i was boxing inside myself in those fights as i normally use better feet and head movement ad are alot more elusive and use my jab alot more
