Who gave Hopkins a harder fight, Winky Wright or Joe Calzaghe?

Well I guess we can agree that, with regard to that instance, the camera does show that Calzaghe's glove brushed against Hopkins' shorts after a legal punch was deflected by Hopkins' glove and sent downwards.

So, lets leave that one. Now how about the later instance where Hopkins threw himself to the floor crying once more, Cortez told him to get up and Hopkins got up, grinned and continued on? The one where the camera shows no remotely low shot landing at all. Camera doesn't lie, huh?

And what is the connection between Eastern Europe and Joe Calzaghe? Do you think the two identify with each other in any respect? Do you have a clue?

The answer to this poll was always going to be predictable because most people think Calzaghe won, and this fight is debated. Nobody even debates Winky-Hopkins because Hopkins won clear enough. The closer you are to losing, or infact losing, the tougher the fight I would suggest when the aim is to win.

The camera doesn't show anything at all but a loud smack that you hear. Unless you saw a different video than I did . And if the ref doesn't see it(because afterall the ref doesn't see everything) than it doesn't matter whether he hit him low or not because he didn't see it.

They both come from the same country of 'Europe' obviously. And, with their common language of European, they obviously identify, in the same ways that American speakers will naturally identify with American-speaking fighters.

That's because most people from europe are biased like you, and Calzaghe is beloved a hell of lot more than Winky ever will be. Reason being is cause of Winky's style. And if Mayweasther had loss to Ricky Hatton by controversial decision, the samething would be happening right now.

And the fact that Hopkins was screaming in 'pain' one second then grinned and got up when he was called on it doesn't give you the teeniest clue as to whether he was faking or not?

Hopkins is a tactian and fights everybody differently, and hopkins has held and roughhoused many of fighters he's fought. Not just Joe Calzaghe. Quit trying to find excuses for Hopkins making Joe look average.

And like you said but in the second half of the fight. So than you'd agree that Hopkins won most of those early rounds like I said. And Calzaghe was landing pitty pat puinches in the second half of the fight on Hopkins but still copuldn't land any big shots on him. He fights more like an ameteur than anything cause your not turning your punches over when you fight like that.

Joe won by 1 pnt in my opinion. that was because Bhops legs @ 43 were always gooing to be a factor.

Winky faced B Hop 2 years earlier......Age does matter alot.

Imagine JOe @ 43? what do you think he would do?

Nope cause I didn't see him grin. The first low blow he hit him with, B hop was definetly hurt but the second one all i heard was a loud smack and it did sound like he hit him low again, whether you try and say Hopkins faked the effects of the shot on second one or not.

Calzaghe didn't make hopkins look old hopkins is an old man, and that's part of the reason why he lost the fight. That old man actually knocked calzaghe down and while calzaghe threw most punches he had troubles landing on b-hop. Sure hopkins used some foul tactics but i think calzaghe should remember the kessler fight where he held and grabbed kessler in the opening rounds, and sometimes hit with the inside glove..

You know they won't bring that up though. It's the great Joe Calzaghe where talking about. Calzaghe always and has always been fighting like that where he hits people with the inside of his glove, i'm suprised your the first person to point that out.
