Don't see much talk about this fight? What are your guys thoughts? I'm leaning towards Williams but I dont know, I think Wright maybe able to pull it off...

    Williams by decision.

Winky is a true veteran of the sport and should give Williams some problems in there, make Paul work hard for the victory, and steal a few rounds. Still, in the end Williams wins with a clear cut UD.

P.S. If Winky wins I'll be laughing my ass of at the Paul Williams fans on here.:lol:

I expect Wright to win around 117-111 or 116-112 if he has anything left at all. If Winky can use the jab to get inside and do some body work, a place Williams looks susceptible, then I think it'll be a long night for the Punisher.

Williams will probably win a lot of rounds because of his higher volume of punches - I'm not saying that's the way fights should be scored, just that they often are. I think Williams is probably the wrong opponent for Winky when he's been inactive or so long.

    Williams on points.

Why? You act as if Winky is trash or something? Winky was a top 2 or 3 P4P who fought a close fight with Hopkins and only was dropped from the top 10 P4P due to inactivity. If he has anything left he should beat Williams.

I'll take Williams by UD 115-113 across the board. Williams is a beast and alot better than alot of people give him credit for if he wins this fight..It's a shame COTTO, MOSLEY, BERTO, MARGARITO, CINTRON, WANT NOTHING TO DO WITH HIM CUZ HE COULD SHAKE UP THE 147 DIVISION IN 1 WAY OR ANOTHER!

Only because I feel that some of you are really going overboard with your Williams fanaticism. He's a fine fighter who I have no problem with, but don't go claiming he's the resurrection of Tommy Hearns just yet.

Hopkins and Jermain dont throw nearly as many punches as Paul Williams...I doubt he'll be over to walk Williams down...:bart

If Winky comes in rested rather than rusted, he should win a comfortable UD. I would not pick Paul over anyone with a really good jab. I think winky can make the left hand lead work well too.

Find one ****in post where a Williams fan says he is the resurrection of Tommy Hearns. No one has ever said that except for Margarito and Cotto fans who try to ridicule him.
