Hey! Your right about that...Paddy has gotten in touch with me & I'll be starting on that Dunne painting real soon. I know how much that moment of Dunne's victory means to Paddy. I get the same feeling everytime I see the Pavlik pic with Taylor slumped in the corner.

    ((((((((((GO JOHN DUDDY))))))))))))

Maybe someday I can paint Duddy for someone. After he wins a MW Title. He should go after Sturm or even Abraham. Stay away from Pavlik, though. I'd hate to see that one happen.

I lke Marty Morrissey, hes good at GAA games , not sure about his knowledge of boxing but whatever he's reporting on he seems well informed and well spoken.McGee's enthusiasm was always his best asset but he's obviously not been doing his homework lately. This is not surprising but i was dissapointed that Dave boy McAuley was not more knowledgeable about Cordoba. All he would have to do is spend 10 minutes on boxrec and half an hour on ESB and he would get all the info he would need.

I'm used to them so i just zone them out but really a change is needed especially with a lot of big fights for Irish boxers on the horizon, a new face or two would be refreshing

Duddys not quite ready for Pavlik just yet, But he's definitely on the right path with Pat Burns and should be ready by early 2010.:good

I can see why Paddy likes the picture it's capture's the moment of Dunnes triumph so well and has been on my desktop ever since.

Load up on red paint! He does cut fairly easy. That was a nasty one he sustained against Smichet.

I think Duddy may surprise alot of people. Even though Pavlik is very tall, their arm length is only a difference of 1". KP = 75" & Duddy = 74"

But I'd love nothing more than to see John get a title shot vs Abraham. I freakin HATE AA & look forward to the day when somebody puts this guy on the balls of his ass!

    :good

Rogan/ Arreola would be a mouth watering proposition. Two non compromising hard men going toe to toe till one drops. That would be a great spectacle.

I agree it would be perfect as the featured undercard for a world heavyweight title fight. It would really get the crowd going and who knows the winner might get the next shot at the title because of it.
It would have to be on in Germany so we could travel a lot easier but im sure big Rogie wouldnt mind doing it in Las Vegas....

hopefully he can come through his next fight. Any news on an opponent ?
The arreola fight would no doubt be more entertaining than the headliner

no i think it was a one off to give a little something back to taylor barnes and Egan (Ahem) dont think we will see it again.

besides there are teams of other young Irish Pro boxers that deserve to be on Bernards undercard.....

    Dean Byrne anyone?

i hear you paddy...i thought it worked awful well though...if there was 7 bouts at a show, i'd certainly watch 2 of them being amatuer bouts.
