    >>To open I never said Vitali was as good as Ali, so let us not try to switch topics. I said Vitali lost less rounds in his entire career than the Ali did in the 1960's.

After Cooper separated Clay from his senses with a left hook. Ali was out of it. Dundee jumped into the ring, and escorted Ali to his corner. Then Dundee used smelling salts, which were illegal in British boxing, and when Ali head jerked up and came to, his eyes were like pin balls. This is on film. Watch it some time. There was also confirmed several minute break when Dundee sent a person back to the dressing room to find another glove because Ali was torn. No glove could be found, so they used what they had. Dundee confirms a several minute break on FILM on EPSN classic in the young Ali marathons they run sometime when they reporter asked him about the glove incident right after the fight. If Dundee did not use illegal smelling salts and stall, it is very possible Ali does not recover and gets Ko'd by a cruiserweight sized fighter.

If you watch the Mildenberger fight, you will see his style bothered Ali, and Mildenbeger most certainly took a few rounds. So did Folley who won the first round and another round. You want more, Ali lost round or two to Blin, who wasn't very good in the early 70's

Heck, even a short plodder in Chavalo took some rounds vs a prime Ali, mostly because Ali lacked the power to keep Chavalo off him.

    >>Well, if you watch the Bonevena fight ( I have a hunch you don't watch boxing as often as I do ) you will see that Bonevena scored a clean knockdown, but the ref blew it. Chavalo fought two good punchers, in Foreman and Frazier, and was stopped in 3 and 4 rounds. I do not think Wlad has a good chin, but I think Vitali has a great chin, and unlike Ali was never dropped twice by cruiser weight guys in Copper and Banks.

I doubt Vitali losses a single round to the likes of Cooper, Folley, Midlendberger, and Chavalo. Well--Maybe one round, but not TEN As the prime Ali did. Just admit that Vitali sum of parts in terms of height, reach, power, skills, stamina, defense, countering, and punch out put make him one of the hardest heavyweights in histroy to out box.

    >>Oh, the 2nd Ali vs Liston fight was toxic. It had to be moved to a high school gym in Maine because no one wanted to host the event.. The odd thing is the fight ended how? With both guys on their feet. It is obvious that Liston rolled over and was waiting to take the count, but ref Joe Walcott blew it so Sonny got up, then the fight ended with the two on their feet. Do you really think Liston, a man with a good chin could be taken out by one punch? Use your reason! Ali never produced a KO like that. There is a high chance that the fix was in. Even Ali himself screamed for Liston to get up in the ring, and said "Get up, no one will believe this "

    >>I think Dundee was a lot better than Sudnek. Question to you, if Ali had a 2nd rate trainer do you think he would be as good as he was? I do not. I think Dundee calmed Ail down, and urged him to go on. When Vitali tore up his shoulder Sudnek did not say a thing. Maybe Dundee could have guided Vitali to finish the fight.

Oh, and Ali lost 5 times on record, but that is not the full story.

    >>Oh, so Ali was past his prime for every single one of his losses? Get out of here! Ali was 29 vs Joe Frazier, and 31 for Norton. This is not past his prime.

    >>Wrong again. Gomez is a slick fighter with head movement and defense. He is a lot like Young in that respect. If you are comparing the size of the two, Gomez is bigger than Young. Ali, who was 34 ( vitali was 37 vs Gomez ) looked awful. In fact, the light punching Young stunned Ali. Did you know that? Try watching round 9 of the fight if you dare! Many feel Young won the fight, but like in the 3rd Norton fight, and perhaps the Shavers fight, the judges gave it to Ali.

and likley only lost one round. Its not Vitlai fault Lewis did not want a re-match, and Byrd did not want one either.

    >>Byrd was offered a re-match. Lewis said he would take a re-match, and was offered 18,000,000.00! He declined because he knew he would not be so lucky in the re-match. It is not Vitlai's fault he did not get re-matches.

What if Frazier or Norton never re-matched Ali? See my point?

Yes, Vitaliy Klitschko is the the greatest puncher ever in the heavyweight division and of course P4P # 1 nowadays.

Vitali is not the hardest puncher, nor is he the cleanest puncher. But he does have the best ko ratio. Only one guy made it to the final bell against vitali, plus he never lost a fight on the cards, nor has he ever been knocked out. Both fight he retired due to injuries he was ahead on the cards. Those are some VERY impressive stats. Imagine how dangerous Vitali would he if indeed he was the best heavyweight puncher

Rahman can say that he was able to beat Lewis and take him off his feet - Vitali can't say that.

Also, Rahman can say he beat Sanders - Wlad can't say that.

    :good
