Sprott is not a bad shout - tends to go into his shell when its all there for him but I don't know what he offers Rogie to be honest.

Depends how quick they want to roll the dice. Lets not pretend Rogan is Marciano, he is beatable, so matchmaking is key.

Brewster strikes me as a very worthy shout, he could come back to the likes of Sprott if he didn't beat Brewster, however if he loses momentum against Sprott he offers people like Brewster etc precious little.

Paddy do you know whether dean byrne has anything in the works after the st patricks new york card was cancelled. Id like to see him in ireland but not full time . Id like to see him stay with roach.

I think it will be done again. Peters and Dom O'Rourke were both delighted with how it went and Moylette was talking about how he hopes to be on the next one, so I got the hint that it was said to the amateurs: Impress and keep this going.

Initially it was just a ticket-booster and maybe that won't be needed for a title defence here, but if, say, McCloskey or Macklin headlines over here, I reckon Taylor and Co will definitely be drafted in for support.

paddy, how good is simon o'donnell? is he good quality?

see he has a loss, was this simply a bad fight at the wrong time or the result of a step up in class?

simon is a very slick boxer and the loss was a result of over confidence! he got caught and paid the price. I was talking to his manager and a rematch will definately be on the cards. He seems to be making a name for himself over in Philly anyway. hes tall for a middleweight 6'3 i thought it might have been a mistake! when you think david haye is 6'4 it boggles the mind!

I wish I did... But I haven't a clue. Surely though Peters will try to make hay on Macklin and McCloskey's higher profiles.

And both are right in the frame for European shots this year. My money would be on either of those, but it's just a guess :think
