Is Pavlik/Mora more acceptable now?

Makes you wonder how much having a fight in madison sq garden would cost tax wise.

    Don't know much about Sylvester.

Lorenzo dropped a fight to Marquez who fought a draw with Bronco McKart one fight before that.

Karmazin has been calling out Abraham, but shows little interest in Pavlik. He's the NABF titlist now, so he will be offered a WBC eliminator.

Spinks is to small, and stylisically it's a shitty fight.

Duddy has to come forward to win, but does not have the power to make Kelly respect him. That's a 5 round fight.

Gervor's big claim to fame is a loss to AA.

Griffin lost to Sturm in his last outing.

The situation at 160 is bleak:yep

Boo great points with the list of Kelly's opposition (especially Duddy whose taking on another Youngstown guy Billy Lyell 18-7!) Unfortunately gentlemen we must realize this is a business and Bob's duty is to promote Kelly Pavlik and make his career the most lucrative he can. It is up to KP to keep winning. The whole notion that KP took the loser of Mora-Forrest is crazy cause I believe they each one once?
As far as the PPV I admit most boxing fans are not crazy about it, but the only fight HBO or Showtime wants with KP seems to be AA. Bob has to get his fighter money and do his own PPV. I think one more trip on American TV for AA will only help the cause.
Let's not forget that nothing can be taken for granted in boxing, so both men must take care of business first!

12 rounds is a long ****ing time when KP is trying to take your head off, and he'd only have to trap Spinks once.

I've tried to make the business point and that Kelly's career shouldn't be tied to Arthur's ability to make 160. Kelly has 4 years and probably a dozen fights left. Deaf Ears.

As a Kelly Pavlik fan I would love to see a AA fight then a Sturm fight then Paul Williams etc., but that's not reality these days. Fighters deserve to earn a living for risking their lives every time out. KP wants all the fights, he also wants to make sure his best "financial" interest is at hand. Rest assured you will see the AA fight then I'm quite confident after KP wins you would see a Sturm fight as well (Maybe after another Mora type bout or a mandatory)

**** -- Sturm won't come out of his cave now -- no way he comes out after Pavlik/Abraham. As far as the business end; Kelly needs to beat AA, and the winner of Wright/Williams ( hopefully Winky.) Consider KP's resume from October 2005 thru February 2008, and then add AA and Winky, and that's the stuff that makes a P4P superstar, and that's good business.

I was surprised when Kelly said Sturm wouldn't talk, Arum backed off that and said Sturm's people were being more reasonable thank AA's. I'd be surprised, but I remain hopeful.

I didn't have a problem with it the first time. Mora is another tune up for pavlik to help him prepare for abraham. Both Pavlik and Abraham are young so i knew the possibility of them fighting each other in the future is still bright. If it happens at the end of this year then great if not i can wait. :good

The only way Kelly ever gets his hands on the WBA title is if Sturm's people screw up and match him with the wrong unknown club fighter.
