well if mab really wants to go again, i think he would be able to call for a rematch and if he does it loud enough, i think khan would have to give it. i mean, regardless of what anyone thinks would have happened, it didnt, and the cut was probably the main reason why

If he's looking out for Barrera's health, then he should be thankful for the cut, because it saved the Mexican another 7 rounds of one-sided punishment. The only thing King looks out for is the size of his wallet.

Well if its the health of MAB that we are concerned about shouldnt they have stopped it when that cut happend? I mean damn the man was lossing alot of ****ing blood it was a matter of time before he passed out due to that, they allowed this man to continue fighting with a gash like that and that speaks alot about how they do business in the UK when their star is involved, they are willing to risk the health of a fighter for the sake of a W.:nono

Im English, but by no means a huge Khan fan. I wanted to see him tested like the rest of the world. Dancing round a one-eyed, aged mexican legend for 5 rounds didnt show me anything. We already knew Khan has skills....just big, big questions over the skills of his jaw to not shatter upon being tickled.
The question i ask though....and i know "pride" could be the answer......why didnt MAB ask for the fight to be stopped. We know he is a smart guy and pride could get in the way in the heat of the moment, but he should really have pushed for the NC in maybe the 3rd.....before a home crowd/ref/panel let it go past the fourth when we all knew what the outcome would be!
Even though it won't happen.....i called for a rematch immediately.
For me, the questions asked before and after, over both fighters, are still there and should be answered!!!! Yes you looked good Amir, yes your brave MAB.....but there was no answer given from this farce.
Do it again!!!!!.....for both of you.......it doesnt matter about money....just do it.....i will quite happily stage it in my back garden if needs be! Im a boxing fan and want to see a result that satisfies us all!

Like the way Khan is calling out Prescott, saying he wants a rematch and all that... yet he ain't mentioning nothing of a rematch with Barrera.

Barrera deserves a rematch b/c there was an accidental clash of heads, that's a legit cause for a rematch if ever there was one, and here we have Khan calling out Prescott to avenge that loss, despite the fact that he legitimately got knocked on his fanny by a somewhat unknown and limited, but heavy handed fighter in Prescott.

Whats hilarious about this is people say "barrera could have quit but chose to carry on" yet in the next round when the cut is exactly the same they stop it regardless of the fact he still wants to fight on... it seems these idiots are truly under the spell of the frank warren con machine.barrera is a fighter not a ringside doctor, of course hes gonna fight on.

i dont think khan will take the rematch he will beleive he has nothing to prove unless barrera fights presscot and takes him to school if this does get changed to a n/c it would deffo be the right decision

I agree, but then they had to stop it DURING the fight. You can hardly sue the referee/doctor for not stopping it early. Maybe he was corrupt to wait until the 5th to stop it so it's a TKO, or maybe he just thought it was enough during the 5th.... either way, you gotta love King suing someone else for corruption.

King filed a protest due to their clash of heads and says the fight should have been stopped and called a no contest.

Since it was due to a clash of heads i think hes right. The only question i have is, if it was khan who had recieved the cut would King allow a rematch?

    Opinions?
