Vernon Forrest added to Taylor vs. Froch / Spinks-Latimore on Shobox April 24th

    That's the word according to a certain site that talks Boxing. The Jermain Taylor vs. Carl Froch card will be a triple header, with Allan Green vs. Carlos De Leon Jr. and Vernon Forrest vs. TBA rounding out the card. The night prior, Shobox will air Cory Spinks vs. Deandre Latimore, a fight that for whatever reason, is intriguing to me.

    Also the WBC had mandated the winner of Holt vs. Bradley to face Devon Alexander in their next fight.

    Before that fight was even mentioned, a deal had been reach for Vernon vs. Sergio Martinez, and in the agreement, both fighters were permitted to take a 10 round tuneup. So I'm assuming this is a tuneup for Martinez.

    Ok, Duddy isn't really a realistic opponent...I hope it will be either David Lopez (my no.1 choice to prepare for Pavlik), Roman Karmazin or Giovanni Lorenzo...

    Well, Lorenzo is the mando after two consecutive attempts. What about Ornales? He had a close fight with Rubio.

    Vernon is just fighting this no-hoper to stay busy. He can do an easy fight in April, and still fight Arthur in July.

    Although their reliability might be questioned too, considering they think Tomasz Adamek is a SMW titlist (look at the paragraph on that page).
