no it doesnt but people like to categorise....

i've been wobbled by a 'feather heavy' and my amateur record is very good.

i took him for granted a bit but the bottom line is that there is no 100% steel jaw, there is always a degree of luck for ANYONE if they go through their career, face some heavyhitters in their time and never taste the canvas.

i got knocked down a few times in my career, never got KO'd, but i can look back on a few when willpower pulled me through but things could have been different.

like i've said before - some of you should sample what you're talking about before you try and talk about it.

Do people know that ODLH got knocked down by some nobodies early in his career?

Pac was KTFO by some nobodies early in his career.

There are surely plenty of examples of fighters who seemed to have shaky chins early on and improved them, or who became great despite shaky chins

 

i really never consider norris as an ATG and im not really sure if he is an hall of famer in my book but he ibhof inducted him there...

true, he could have been great his chin cooperated with him in his big fights

 

I wouldn't go that far. Getting starched is a serious black mark on a fighter's record, particularly if it happens multiple times. But there are guys with glass jaws who can still be classified as ATGs, not many, but some.
