    im bored with all this bottle/punch story who cares unless it was you who got bottled, like someone said we all do things we aint proud of at the end of the day boxing needs characters like gomez and people like him make the sport what it is, i really give gomez a chance i see this as a 50/50 fight from a betting point of view burns doesnt have the power to stop gomez i can see gomez walking him down and wearing him down providing he is in as good as a shape jeff thomas says, whatever happens good luck to him

    the only way burns can win this is on points and from a betting point of view the best price of 15/8 is terrible value for a points victory against such an unpredictable opponent

    i am going to put something to you after the fight jeff, private message regarding this comment. remind me, regarding gomez. don't think its appropriate ahead of one of the biggest nights of your boxing life.

    no matter what good Gomez does hes done allot of bad things and no matter what kind of background you have is no excuse. whether or not what this lad is saying about the bottle incident is true or not, theres no denying Michael has been involved in simular or worse things and used his top class fighting skills in the wrong way agaisnt those who cant defend themselves.
