Margarito should be banned for life!!!!!

Cotto couldn't do it last time because Margarito was able to keep him away with his sledge hammers. Take away his only weapon and he's done for.

Shane_Erich, look back through this thread and you will see that Freddy-Wak is getting **** for being the only sensible poster on the boards during the interim of the investigation. That is in effect condemning him for being patient. It's laughable, and a lot of posters on this thread and many others concerning the Margarito incident in the past, have embarrassed themselves.

Is that all I said about the wraps, or have you picked out one quote after seeing the evidence in pictures? Did those pictures reflect cement and bricks? No they didn't. It was also hard for me to believe that a man of Margarito's ethics would knowingly cheat in the professional ring. In all fairness, there still is no evidence to support that he did knowingly cheat, but I gave him the benefit of the doubt whilst there was no conclusive evidence, but now it's been confirmed as Plaster of Paris, I have resigned my support.

 

Where's those Margacheato apologists, Freddie Wanker and co? Let's see what excuses they will try to shove down our throats? Will they try to question the LA times. Will they claim conspiracy against Mexican fighters? Let's see if they can admit to the plain truth: Margarito is a coward, cheater and a criminal. He has no place in boxing.

 

A 1 year ban is fine with me since they caught him before he actually used them on Mosley. Unless they can actually prove he used the substance in any other fight... then and only then would I agree to a lifetime ban in the US. Nice to see the facts com out though... now all you haters can justifiably come out with your bashing. (as if you weren't doing it before without any evidence :roll

 

Capitello admitted to his "mistake", Margarito denied everything, and the CSAC doing such a **** poor job from day one, still did not know exactly what was in the wrapping until this article here was released.

In Nevada, the fighters are not allowed to wrap with their own materials......the inspectors provide that in a sealed bag.....they deliver it to the fighter and then never leave their site until the hands are wrapped and signed off!

Btw, Margarito-Cotto was fought in Las Vegas Nevada!

Freddy has shown class throughout the entire thing. He only expressed his opinion, which differed from all of the cynical posters on this forum. Mostly die hard fans of either Cotto or Mayweather Jr.

As for Divac, he is not experiencing any knee-jerk reaction, but is not disregarding the article either.

 

Freddy was class but he was defending Margo after his trainers admission.
