do you guys even realize how PISSED off hagler would be by fight night... the **** mayorga talks are you kidding me!?!?.. hagler kills this guy in the ring.. as much of a shot as mayorga can take .. i just see hagler beating this man to death in the fashion emile griffith did benny the kid

I think Hagler could take him out sooner, much like he did against Hamsho the second time around, but I think he might be inclined to take his time and gradually beat any resistance out of Mayorga, espeically if the latter tried to get under his skin.

So, this might look more like Hamsho 1 than Hamsho 2. Hagler KO 10 after sending Mayorga to the mat a couple of times.

 

Alan Minter was a good middleweight. Now think what that Hagler does here. Smashes his face in.

 

Ayala-Epps springs to mind when this one comes up.

 

Anyone remember the 2nd Hagler vs Hamsho fight? That one lasted about twice as long as this one would.

 

Hamsho was a legit middle, who also would have KO'd Mayorga.

 

Hagler was a technician he would methodically dismantle Mayorga who is just a wild swinging tough guy,similar to Yvonne Durelle and that big puncher that Bob Foster iced, name escapes me.

 

I think that if the newer members of the Classic section want to inundate the forum with H2Hs, they should at least take the time to devise thoughtful ones and ones that aren't totally played out (like Hagler-Hopkins/Jones).
