The commision has already proved their incompetency for spotting this stuff, so its perfectly plausible and mosly likely what happened that they have been incompetent in the past. The real handwrap expert is naseem richardson who seems to be very vigilant with this and it just seems too much of a coincidence that the only 1 time Margo will cheat with handwraps is when he is againsts the handwrap expert.

No, more likely because it was the last fight just before mosley and they cant honestly expect us to believe he decided to only use it after Cotto because that fight just knocked Margo's confidence down right? If anything, if Margo was using plasters in previous fights and not against Cotto, after what he did to Cotto without plasters, surely he would opt not to use plasters against Mosley, specially with that confidence boost.

 

Tito's dad has said that they ALWAYS wrapped his hands that way. They were made to re-wrap it for a reason. It wasn't as blatant as Margo's but definitely dodgy...and in Tito's 40 fights only Richardson made them re-wrap. Coincidence that its this same guy who caught out Margo?

And I see you failed to respond to the fact that the commissions FAILED to spot Margo's handwrap against Mosley, It was Richardson who did. SO how can you say that Margo didn't cheat previously because the commissions didn't spot him then when they just demonstrated that they failed to spot him when he did cheat.

Didnt Hopkins himself also say that it was mind games? What had happend in that fight like I said was there was tape dirrectly on the skin, in NY its not allowed in Vegas it is allowed

 

What they were doing may have been legal but its clear that they were tying to gain extra advantage with the way they wrapped it. If it is indeed tape, then gauze, then tape then surely its with the aim of trying to make the wrap harder.

 

Not true at all, its legal to have tape on your skin in Vegas, some fighters put an X with Tape on their skin to protect their bones, when wrapping your hands they refer to a thing called the X factor, used with tape and Gauze it helps better protect the hands.

 

Marg is nothing without his Paris, and it showed when he fought Mosley. If Cotto was fighting that night Margarito would be been ****ed.

What ensued in the Mosley fight would lead me to believe the handwrapping would have had no barring on the result any how. The issue was not Margarito's punches doing any damage, but Antonio literally couldn't land a glove on Shane. It took them months to inspect wraps that they were holding to verify it was illegal...and you think their capable of inspecting wraps they never even looked at?
