    Pac, followed by JMM.

I thought JMM beat Pac in a close fight last time but the DLH achievment keeps Manny a hair in front.
DLH`s condition was terrible but Manny had no right to even sign for that fight never mind win it so he`s no1 right now.

A lot depends on the Hatton fight, if Manny can win that fight... & thats a big if... then the only possible 2 ways for JMM to snatch the no1 spot or at least debate it are.....
    1. beating Pac
    2. beating Mayweather

    `peace out`

If Hatton beats Pac then i'd justify him going above Vazquez due to inactivity and the old 2 weight thing but thats as far as he'll go IMO. Plus I dont think he will beat Pac

Come on dude. Marquez has beaten 3 P4P fighters in a row. Pacquiao has lost, then beat two living punchbags. Its not even close!

anybody can twist it. Pacquiao has beaten 3 fighters while consistently moving-up in a row. JMM lost, then beat a shot casa and an over-rated juan diaz. Its not even close!

    see. ;)

Well in history it might distort to become that way, but for people like you and me, we've actually lived through those fights, and know the truth.

In all honestly, i'm disgusted that Manny can still be regarded as P4P no.1.

After losing a close fight with the legendary Dinamita, he then faced two non existant opponents in a row. He completely skipped over any of the dangerous fighter at lightweight. Of late Manny has replicated Mayweather - taking the easiest fights at the higher weights. And just like Mayweather, all the nuthuggers still cry out he's the best.

    The poll was

    "who's really the P4P no.1?"

    NOT

"who's really the biggest ***** on ESB?"

though david diaz is not as well-regarded as casa and juan diaz at 135, he is the WBC champ. i regard casa and diaz and almost equal stature when both pac and jmm got to them. juan diaz is certainly a good addition to jmm's 135 resume, but it's not the same as if he defeted juan diaz when he was still undefeated and p4p#10. it's easy to dismiss pac's victory over hoya because he made it so easy but remember that even a legit 140-147 guy like forbes could not beat him just months before.

i don't have problem if some would have jmm as no.1 but the fact remains that they have a close 2nd fight which pac won, officially and on my card, and pac made going-up in weight look easy that people are dismissing his opponents. i bet if hatton looked terrible in his fight with pac, some people would say that pac picked the weakest challenge at 140.
