What you say is logical and plausible, but I still wish he had retired after the Mollo fight.

The saddest part is, Golota would have beaten Valuev had he gotten by Austin.

Judging by the way old man Holyfield did against him (had Golota gottin by Ausin, it would have been Valuev-Golota fighting), I'd say even today's shot version of Golota would have had a damn good chance vs the slow, gentle giant Valuev.

I guess it just wasnt meant to be for the Andrew. :-(

I wouldnt mind Golota joining the old timers club and fight slow guys like Botha, Holyfield etc. If he is to continue (and I still think he should just retire), he'll have to resort to these type of fights. The younger, quicker guys will blow Golota out. He should continue his quest at winning vacant WBA North American and WBA Fedelatin heavyweight titles.

I think we agree on this. Ideally, I'd rather just see him hang them up, but if he is to continue, that's probably the route he should take.

I know it seems silly to a lot of people, but Golota fighting Bowe a 3rd time is still something I'd watch, even though it would kind of be a mockery of the classic battles that took place between arguably the two best heavyweights on the planet from 1996.

I remember shortly after Bowe-Golota 2, a reporter asked Bowe if there would ever be a Bowe-Golota 3 and Bowe's response was "are you crazy?"

If Bowe-Golota 3 were to ever happen, it'd definitely be more of a circus attration. Especially becaue Bowe would weigh in as big as an elephant.

He would also have beaten the version of Sam Peter this past Friday. What the hell happened to Peter's vaunted and powerful left hook? I don't think he threw one the entire fight with Chambers.

    Peter looks shot.

Peter is also a fat **** now. He's gonna waste his talent away just like David Tua cause he won't take condiitoning seriously. He has it in his mind that he can eat all the hoe-hoes he wants and still knock the guy out. :-(
