What a joke. If Sam wins one more round on the judges' cards, it's a draw. Farce. I didn't score it but Eddie was in control the whole time.

Not sure what was worse the incompetent judges or the pathetic effort from the fighters.

We all could have taken a round or two off. The fighters took ten EACH!

I had it 96-94, and I thought it was a pretty clear 96-94 at that. Peter controlled the first three rounds, IMO, by landing the more solid shots and being aggressive. Chambers landed more but they were pitty patty. After the third, Peter started throwing arm punches and never really got into cutting off the ring and pinning Chambers against the ropes, and it was pretty much all Chambers from that point on, other than a close 8th.

I didn't think any of the scores were that out of line.

Personally, I had it 97-93 for Chambers. I gave Peter the 2nd, the 5th, and the final round.

I could easily see two rounds going the other way in either direction, so 99-91 and 95-95 both seemed feasible to me.

When neither fighter is doing enough to take the fighter over, you can get scores like this. One judge sees one thing, another judge sees another. There's less ebb and flow so judges wind up ghost busting.

Fair point, but I seriously didn't think these scores were that out of line.

Incidentally, Atlas's expectations of Chambers were well beyond the realm of reason. WTF did Teddy expect Chambers to do?
