The Peter that fought Tony would beat Chambers easy.

Peter actually looked better with his D early in the fight. He needs to drop some weight and improve continually on his D. Lighter weight can enhance his output.

    Ruined.????
    Peter never had anything.
Slow, fat, cant box --- never could.
    The Human Heavybag.

    Disregard the above.
    Peter is coming along.
Even thou he lost his last fight against Chambers --- he was jabbing, slipping punches and trying some stuff that most guys built like him find impossible to do.

peter's fit and a good 8 weeks of training and getting down to 245, he beats the like of eddie pretty easy, the guy is lazy and doesn't won't to fight.

  5. Sam Peter was never a good fighter. he got promoted perfectly (think Akinwande). he never had the skills to be an elite fighter. Just one punch power. i remember watching an ESPN telecast when Teddy Atlas said Peter would be too much for any top 100 HW. Hell Peter got beat by a blown up CW in Chambers. His career is over.

I was watching a Vlad Klitschko fight, he is way above anyone in the top ten, by far. Vlad is so very fluid, American style can understand him. Vitali looks weird, but I understand his style which works extremely well. I was a former kickboxer, full contact. I have fought world champions, both kickboxing and boxing. I have sparred with world champions, and yes, I have sparred with both Spinks brothers in St. Louis years ago. I still run 10.5 miles, and sparred 8 rounds the other day in my gym. I run on my private track. Never get out of shape, or you will regret it. I know this as a fact.

Peter was 265 pounds! 20 more than against Wlad. This is too much. So the version of Peter who fought Wlad was a good and aggressive fighter.

Today he is very slow because he is overweight.

You mean he was actually good at some point?

The guy has always been complete and utter dog ****. Yes the weight and likely psychological scarring made him look even worse, but please tell me what great attributes he had to start with. He's built on knocking down Wlad a few times, mostly with rabbit punches, but then again a few others have knocked Wlad down so who cares.
