Just wondering, what is wrong with Dr. Margaret Goodman?? I have a good impression of her from her work and articles in the Ring Mag. What am I missing, sir?
hmm says I'ld put Dana White down cause he's always bitching about how his UFC is better than boxing but he uses the very foundations of boxing to start and run UFC to get where he is. Even though he says he's a fan of boxing, he keeps bragging and complaining about the boxers or boxing or making the public too aware of the negatives and less on the positives when he himself is guilty of hypocrisy. MMA is like pop music, it keeps changing and gets olds... Boxing is like classic rock, it never gets old and will never die.
Greenburg just buys any fight promoted by GBP and puts it on PPV. We get lucky here that few fights are on PPV....... those that are cost £15 ($22) and we get a British card and usually an American one.
She is part of the Problem of the failing of the sport ! She told me 2 months after the 35 birth day that before she would consider me for a fight in NV , I would have to fly out to Nevada and take thousands of dollars worth of test all at my own expense . I told it was a crime that laws were made in that state she replied it was a privileged to fight in Nevada not a right ! And she was proud of that ! So the bottom line is with twisted ****s like that *****, If you are middle or lower class you cant play this game regardless what you think your rights are !
It was even reported that Greenburg was going to give GBP a 5 year contract, with open dates, WITH OUT even knowing who would be on the schedules!! What does this do?? 1. Takes away all powers of negotiations, deal's already done. 2. Hurts the **** out of all other promotion company's because not only do GBP have SET dates locked down, but will cause up and coming or already established stars to flock towards GBP's stable knowing their chance of getting on HBO is very likely. If you want more, and I mean a painful indepth analysis of the wrongs of Greenburg and Headed By Oscar, we need to google Thomas Haussler's article on this subject.
In the past that's been the case but so far this year they've put some great shows on. They put JMM-Diaz on regular HBO when it would have been PPV in the past, same with Margo-Mosely. Their first PPV will be Hatton-Pac in May (they're distributing the Lightweight tourney PPV but not producing it). So far this year they've had: Berto-Collazo Margo-Mosely Campbell-Funeka, Martinez-Cintron and Angulo-Rivera (who was a late replacement) JMM-Diaz, John-Juarez Kirkland-Julio, Ortiz-Arnaoutis and Guerrero-Yordan They they're also showing: Williams-Winky and Arreola-Mccline Juanma-Penalosa Berto-Urango and Angulo-Cintron That's some quality fights right there.
