    ......waste of time.

Pavlik is turning into a joke. But if this paves the way for a AA fight I suppose its not that bad.

"Word on the streets of Ytown" says Kelly hasn't signed yet cuz he hasn't met with Arum. Though it is expected. Tickets aren't announced cuz it ain't a done deal. Probably will be next week though.

At first I was pissed that this fight was happening but now I think ill be ok with it as long as its a setup fight for AA VS Pavlik otherwise **** this fight. Plus we get to see how they stack up against two fighters that faced each other in Forrest/Mora who are 1-1 against each other.

    Lockett, Rubio, and now Mora...

WOW, Kelly's really building up quite the list of top-notch title defences!

What a legacy! Who's next? Duddy... or maybe Tito? What a JOKE!

But, AA and Strum's competition has been just as bad... if not worse.

Kelly Pavlik has fought 4 times in the last 18 months. Pavlik/Taylor II, Lockett, Hopkins, and Rubio. Granted, only two of those fights were titles defenses, but don't act like the Taylor and Hopkins fights never happened **** Wad.

I'm too tired to bother with the morons today. They have their agenda and it isn't going to change.

    **** that.

I respect it that Pavlik wants to make money. So why not fight Dudy? Or the winner of Williams vs Wright. Or rather Abrham.

    Mora will get slaughtered.

Exactly. This is a great big wtf? At least we know the Williams/Wright winner is very likely willing to face Pavlik for any terms. Well, maybe not Wright, given his history of bargaining, but still this is a big fat stinker of a matchup.

What exactly has Mora done lately except rightfully lose to Forrest? Seriously.

The only thing this fight will do is make Pavlik really bad against another awkward opponent, or make him look so-so for beating up another questionable contender.

Like most people have said, unless we get Pavlik-Abraham out of this -- Epic FAIL.

Here we go again! 1.)Duddy is going to most likely campaign at 154 2.) Arum has had many conversations about fighting Winky and he always priced himself out of the fight 3.) Remember some time ago there was talk of Pavlik-Williams? Bob Arum was pissed because he felt Williams and his people never really wanted the fight, they just used it as leverage for more money on another fight. 4.) There will most likely be a Pavlik-AA matchup in the fall and KP isn't due any defenses right now so what do you do in the meantime? All the closet promoters that's your cue to answer!

Have you noticed how bazaar the double standard is? It was perfectly OK for Arthur to stab Zuniga in the back, and fight a voluntary against Elvyn Ayala. However, it's wrong for Kelly to fight a voluntary against the guy who fought a draw with Ayala and holds a win over Forrest.:patsch

I agree about the double standards. A lot of fighters get absolutely slaughtered on here for fighting low level comp. Keep it consistant.

NO ****!!! Everybody seems to act like KP is p4p #1 all of a sudden and criticize the **** out of his every move. 1) KP is NOT p4p and has just won his belt a few fights ago. Got DAM!! 2) Like you have said, he took on JT II in a contracted rematch in a non-title bout, STEPPED up 2 friggin weight classes to take on Mr. Bernard ****ing Hopkins! Yes, Lockett turned out to be pretty soft, but he was WBO's #1 contender and according to Boxing Monthly publicated in the UK, Lockett was still ranked UK's #1 MW even AFTER losing to Pavlik...until he retired.

Rubio EARNED his shot thru Eliminator bouts, so WTF is the problem, KP handled business.

Like I said at top, I could see the criticizm if Pavlik was in the top 3 P4P, BUT HE'S NOT!!! OK? There are 17 weight divisions with 4 belts in each, and I'm quite sure there are other Champs that are not doing as much as Pavlik.
