Will a TKO win for David Haye over Wladimir Klitschko be for the better of boxing?

Nobody can forget how people acting like the Heavyweight World was on fire when Lamon Brewster was Champ. The amount of love thrown his way was shocking. Not quite as shocking as if you would have been here when Dominick Guinn was a prospect. I promise you that people were on here calling him a mixture of Evander Holyfield with Tyson's power in his left hook.:yep:rofl I was telling everyone who would listen that Monte Barrett would even kick his ass if they ever fought and they bashed the hell out of me for it. I won some nice avatar bets on that one.:D

Again you seem to have deluded Klitschko haters with rational thinkers.

Seperate the two and you'll find nobody in the latter had Sam Peter beating Wlad.

Bull****. Haye is going get ****ed with the first jab that Wlad lands. Haye is far more likely to be KOed with a single shot than Vitali is.

Haye acually earning the right to fight wlad by facing arreola or povetkin would be good for boxing... then when wlad beat him, or if he beat wlad, everyone would know it was legit...

haye is rushing this, he should fight on the same card as wlad and fight povetkin and then the winner of that would be deemed by everyone as the very top contender.. haye would also be more adjusted to his weight and more prepeared for wlad..

BUT LET ME AGAIN SAY THAT HAYE IS BIGGER THAN ALI, AND HAYE WAS A HUGE CRUISERWEIGHT THAT HAD TO SEVERELY DEHYDRATE HIMSELF TO MAKE 200 lbs

and for anyone that is going to say vitali didnt earn his chance: vitali retired b/c of an injury still champ as the wbc named him emertius champ noting that if he EVER came back he would get a shot at HIS title which was never taken from him by another fighter.

Anyone who is fighting in the heavyweight division permanently cannot be included in the pound for pound conversation. You don't have the ability to take on the diverse competition that the lower weight classes can.

I wasn't on the board then but Lamon Brewster/Sergei Liahovich was the last great HW fight of recent memory. Sad what happened to the both of them.

The day Wlad displays the heart shown by Brewster in their first fight is the day that I'll become a fan.

Brewster got the **** kicked out of him and rallied back to knock Klitschko out. Though according to most Klitschko fans, Wladimir was poisoned.

When Wladimir got the **** kicked out of him by Corrie Sanders in the first round, he folded mentally. And ever since, the only other place you'll find a bigger Ukranian ***** is in the brothels in Kiev.

    :good

Did you see the peter/wlad fight when peter was at his best and dropped wlad three times and wlad got up and ABSOLUTLY DOMINATED THE LAST 8 ROUNDS OF THE MATCH

IS THAT NOT SHOWING HEART UNDER DISTRESS??? IF NOT THAN WHAT IS??? WLAD HASNT BEEN STUNNED SINCE THAT FIGHT YEARS AGO B/C HE HAS BEEN SO DOMINATE!!!!

    :rofl:patsch

We have people here that said Peter WON the fight because he scored 3 knockdowns :rofl. Never mind that he lost EVERY round of the fight that he did not score a knockdown. That is the type of logic some of the idiots on here have.

All I remember from that fight was Wlad clinching like a ***** for 12 rounds against Peter.

So, no. He didn't show any heart nor testicular fortitude in my humble opinion.

it is sad...but that is what you're going to get whenever you see that kind of brawl with those kinds of big punchers.

It's unrealistic to expect a Gatti/Ward type of fight in the heavyweight division. They are two competely different products.

You saw what you wanted to see.

I saw a completely different fight. Yes, Klitschko was tying his man up, but if you count the number of clinches in Douglass/Tyson, it far exceeds the number of clinches in W Klitshcko/Peter.

Well consider that Sergei was 10 seconds away from retaining against Briggs. I wonder what would've happened if Liahovich would've retained and gone on to face Barney Rubble instead of Briggs.
