When I watch a fight, should I just ignore the quality aspect? When two guys go at it like just now I get so frustrated because its obvious to anyone that both fighters should have used different tactics. I`m sure I`m not the only one who was sitting there shouting, " what are you doing , Dodson?"

 

I personally wanted Tony Dodson to win, i was prob the only person in the pub who did.

Quigley does not look fit at the weight at all.

 

if this if that is all you keep saying, i would change nothin about the fight or the fighters it was a classic domestic fight great fights donot have to include ali johnson etc they can be found at every level of the sport aslong as the styles match u can get a great spectacule

I don't know why Hayemaker didn't use the guy who did their first show, Craig Stephen, the bloke has got class. I saw him last night at the Burns Gomez fight and asked him if he was doing tonight's show, he just said that he hadn't got the call.

I also saw Jeff Thomas in Gomez's corner but didn't get close enough to say hello!

Interesting to know if Jeff's got an opinion on MC's, he's got an opinion on everything else.......:tong

Gench, my first post on this thread was to point out that both these guys were very limited, neither of whom deserve their Boxrec ratings. The fight, as it progressed, proved me right. I can go down to my local pub and watch a good square go at closing time. It doesn`t mean I`m watching something skillful. I`ve no problem with a hard fight but what we saw tonight was a brawl. Fair enough, brawls are great but the lack of basics tonight was depressing.

 

just seen what price did when he dropped his gumshield and got clocked and wobbled bad.It was a good finish by him thou that was a good k.o

Good fight, I was hoping Dodson would win but you could tell he was gone in that last round. What a KO from Price as well. I was a bit unimpressed before that but what a way to end the fight.
